Wake up” my mom shouted from downstairs i opened my eyes but i couldn’t keep them open.I fell out of bed trying to stroll my way to the bathroom to brush my teeth once i was done i came downstairs everybody was getting ready, ”What are we getting ready for” i asked “We are going out for breakfast so get ready” my dad told me once i got ready i went into the car we started driving to this resturant named perkins we sat down “what time are we going pumpkin picking” i asked my dad “instead of pumpkin picking lets go to six flags” i was so excited about going to six flags because i have never went there before and the way people talk about makes it seem really fun! After we all started eating we thanked our waitress for the meal and
When we all got to six flags, we all gathered together making plans on what we were going to do first. We all decided to go to Hurricane Harbor Park first because of how hot it was. As we walked into the park I was like “Wow look at all the slides!”
It was a nice day to go pumpkin picking with my family. We went to the local farms to pick our pumpkins. I wanted to pick the perfect one.
Last summer me and my family went to valleyfair. We got up really early because we had to drive to shakopee. It was a long drive and i fell asleep in the car. I hate long cars rides because they are always so boring, anyways when we got there we had to go through security and then go and get our tickets and wristbands. When we got in there we went on some rides and got food. All i ate that day was panda express. And i went on the wild thing and steel venom.
How much power does a poor white woman have back in the 1900s have? A white lady named Mayella accused a black man, Tom Robinson, for rape. The two ended up going to trial. She ended up winning the case and sent the black man to jail. She might have won the case, but how much power does she really have?
Today I went to the Lantern for the first time. When we arrived and signed in we were told to just go hang out in the living room area and talk to the residents that Cathy would be there around three. We got to talk with the residents and paint pumpkins. The residents are a true blessing.
So one of the best thing I have ever gotten to do is go to Six Flags. The one I got to go to is in Van Texas. It is a crazy amusement park that has the third fastest roller coaster in the country.I got to go with some people too. Me Anne Mae, Jack, Jonathan, Mason, Alison, Olle, Davis, and my mom. It is a very cool amusement park. My favorite part was the Mr. Freeze ride. Jonathan said, “Mr. Freeze was his favorite too”.
I don’t ever want to forget the day we went to Six Flags. In the morning I woke up my parents at 9:00 in the morning so we can get there early and get tickets. Next, I ask my friend if he can come and he said “Sure I’ll come”. So, when my friend was ready to go we left to Six Flags Great Adventure. In addition, when we got there we started off with the games. My friend and I were versing each other on different games. We also went into the haunted house. When we got bored we went on the roller coaster. We went on Superman, Green Lantern, and the Joker, and the most coolest part the Ferris Wheel! After that, we took a break and got back to the rides. Later, when we were tired out, we went home.
First we entered six flags where we were very excited that we were there. We also had to listen to a very long speech about the rules and the rides of six flags. Then we started riding the rides the first ride we rode was the flash the ride was very fast and my dad lost his hat but it fall to the back of the sit. Then we found out there was a water park so we went back to the park to get some clothes
Simultaneously, Emily, Will, Justin, Marianna and me went to six-flags we started off in spain but little did we know that we would be going on the scariest ride we have ever been of except Emily cause she rode the Texas Giant which is the biggest ride there. However when we went to the superhero part of Six Flags we saw a few of our ideals like batman, joker, etc. Subsequently we ended up going to the Gouthum hall of fame first and that was amazing we were singing songs the entire way in and out.
“Great Expectations”, “The Sign of the Four”, and “The Red Badge of Courage” are books written with literary elements as building block for storytelling. Each first chapter uses character development, setting description, and many types of conflict to interest the reader. Even though all of the stories contain these elements, some are used more than others. “Great Expectations” and “The Red Badge of Courage” focus on the setting and character description more than “The Sign of The Four” where the element on conflict is heavily used.
We started our long journey to Gurnee, Illinois where Six Flags Great America is located. Melissa, Anna and I were playing in the car while my mom was paying attention to the road. It was still early in the morning, so I took a nap and I woke up 45 minutes later. We all stopped at McDonald's on the way, because we did not have any breakfast yet.
Mama grabbed Sarah in her arms and ran out of the room. The look on her face scared me. I pulled the covers up over my
People use pumpkins for several things before and after Halloween. Many people love using them to make soups, pies, and also even bread; they also love to decorate and carve them. Jack-o-lanterns and gourds make great decorations, and can even be scary when carved in a certain pattern. Some people even use them to shoot or use them as a target practice. My favorite thing to use a pumpkin for is to bake a pumpkin pie.
Reverse mentoring (where a more junior colleague mentors a senior leader) can also be effective in encouraging sharing and learning across generations and/or between role levels. More information on the use of mentoring to develop individuals for key or leadership positions can be found in our factsheet on succession planning and in our report The talent perspective on participants’ perceptions of talent management programmes. Go to our factsheet on succession planning Visit the talent perspective report CIPD members can make use of their mentoring skills in helping young job seekers into work through our Steps Ahead Mentoring campaign. Recent research published in our report Volunteering to learn: employee development through community action also demonstrates that such schemes and other volunteering opportunities can help build coaching and mentoring skills. “WAKE UP” my mom yelled from the kitchen. “We have to go now!” My mom said at 9:00 in the morning.
