Education is the path in which all our dreams can be realized and achieved. My dream is not something that is grounded, but rather something that will help me soar. My dream is to become an aviator in the United States Army. This is a dream of mine that I have been pursuing, ever since since I realized it is what I was called to do. I joined the Civil Air Patrol, an Air Force Auxiliary to get closer to the military and aviation field. I eventually became the College Park Composite Squadron’s First Sergeant, leading over 30 cadets in Physical Training(PT), Drill, teaching classes and various other activities. From the Civil Air Patrol I not only succeeded but I thrived and I realized this is the kind of environment I want to be in. What I do in the next 3 years of college will determine whether my dream comes true or not and I believe that I posses the right aptitude and determination to achieve my dream. …show more content…
I value the education that is given at this institution. My reason for attendance at this school is due to the status that Embry-Riddle holds as the best school for aviation. This school really is the leading school in the world for aviation related fields, this is reflected in the aviation atmosphere the school creates among the students. I’ve made my first year at this institution to be focused solely on my grades and Army ROTC. These two things items are the cornerstone of my goals and excelling in these two areas will allow me to achieve my dream. With the completion of my first semester in college my determination in excelling only further proves itself with the grades I received along with success in ROTC. This determination to excel will only continue to improve in the the remaining time I have in
Dreams are shaped by ideals and families shape the beliefs we grasp so strongly. Someday I want to change lives through an engineering career. My family has taught me that change can be positive and that change is the law of life. I hope to improve my life as well as the lives of others around me by creating something wonderful.
I decided early on in High School that my goal was to attend college for a degree in aerospace engineering, moving on to work as an engineer or technician working on and designing aircraft. When I was very young,
As my high school career ends, I notice increasingly how much life that I have yet to live and the opportunities available to me in the years ahead. The past four years have been great preparation for my future endeavors, but college is the path leading to my full potential. In order to reach the end of this path, I utilize my most valuable trait—determination—to set short and long-term goals and achieve them. It is with this “can do” spirit—like the one my grandpa, a former Navy Seabee, evinces through his stories—that I have set my personal goals: to volunteer my time in service to others, further develop leadership skills through experiential learning, and excel at my school work no matter how challenging it may seem. Though these may
After high school, students in the United States have various career choices to choose from. College is a place composed of numerous facets and activities, which offer a variety of avenues for the career-minded to explore, while offering growth and opportunities for advancement. A fine career choice for students to pursue in college in is marketing: planning, directing, and the coordination of marketing policies and programs.
I have learned not to limit myself to just one goal. One lifelong goal is to be a person of influence who consistently impacts the lives of others. I am accomplishing this goal by being involved in events such as the March of Dimes, Meals on Wheels, Trees for Troops, and a variety of other significant events in the community. Another goal is to complete my biology degree with honors, which I am making strides towards by maintaining a 3.7 GPA. Once I receive my degree, I will eventually pursue a doctoral degree in Veterinarian Aquatic Science. One of the most important goals that I have is to be the best airman I can possibly be. I could never repay the Air Force for the opportunities it has afforded me, but I can exemplify all of those things through dedication, determination, and
Some of the obstacles I may encounter during my college career would be to be in dept., homesickness, and choosing a major. These obstacles may seem like nothing at the moment but once it happens it will be hard but not impossible to accomplish. Some obstacles are different to others because some people don’t get homesickness, or don’t have a problem choosing a major, some come from families that make enough money to pay for tuition so they don’t end up going into dept. like others. But all these obstacles can be solved within time.
What type of careers would you want during colleges? Whatever it is I’m sure that you have to make a goal to accomplish it. I’d like to graduate with a degree in nursing or dental in the future. My career is already in the making for me. I want to go to college and actually finish without dropping out. Ten years from now I want to be able to say I did it. I should have a complete degree and education to prove that I made it. Working in a well-paid job to support my family. I need to keep a positive attitude to reach that point of finishing college. The attitudes that berry hadn’t been positive nor motivational that’s why he didn’t make it as far until he actually wanted to learn. He learned by motivating himself to read.
I want to be a heart surgeon and I will do whatever it takes to reach my goal. I plan on taking chemistry, biology and anatomy classes at the academy. I have wanted to be many things in life, a judge, a lawyer, an obgyn and even a pediatric surgeon, but I always knew that the military was for me. I have endless dedication and ambition. Throughout the summer I worked to get in top physical condition. Everything I do I do it with passion. I have big dreams for myself and if I was admitted into the United States Academy West Point I would be one step closer to them.
What colleges are you trying to get into? Why are you applying to these schools?
As I entered my senior year of high school, my range of college interests was all over the place. My mind was changing everyday from seeking a big school environment to a small college. I could imagine myself in a rural community, or could just as easily see myself enjoying college in a metropolitan area. I believe that UNCW offers the best of both worlds in the way it is not in a huge city, but not in the middle of nowhere. There is always something to do and you are not stranded as some of my friends are in their college towns.
Enrolled at Miami Dade College is the starting point to complete my long life desire and goal of earning a Master degree in management engineering, and business administration. From the time I was a young kid through the time of high school, I had always have passion for more knowledge, and engineering. But in my senior year in high school to the time of summer, I have led to the discovery of another passion, and great ambition toward it (Business). However, to reach those goals, I will need the power of education, which provide more knowledge, and wisdom to whoever seek. By pursuing a college degree, I have a higher change of successes in both degree, in life also. But this question also deal with emotional feeling, pursuing a college degree
To begin, I would like to express my passion for pursuing a college career. Since I was very young, one of my top goals has always been to have a job that I enjoyed going to everyday. Furthermore, when I started high school I knew I had to commence working towards that goal. Consequently, I had no idea of what kind of job or career I would enjoy, this in turn made me slack off, and not care much about my first two years of high school. Eventually, I took an automotive class at the technical careers high school, and as a result, I knew I wanted to work with cars everyday. Moreover, I took an opportunity that has changed the course of my life drastically. henceforth, I have read and researched many colleges and their programs, and BYU-I stood
My three college choices are University of Florida, University of Seattle and Ohio University. Each of these colleges have good qualities for my careers. I’m not very sure what exactly I want to have a career in. Two of my main choices are veterinarian or child care. Some of my concerns are the distance, cost of tuition, the quality of the program, and the recreation at the colleges.
One big part of my dream is to get a good education and being able to study what I want. Ever since I was a kid I have wanted to go to MSU and become a Spartan. It has always been a big dream of mine so I could be like my grandparents and parents. Another reason I have always wanted to get a good degree is because I have always wanted to become a mechanical engineer. In the last few years I have picked up an interest in computer programming. I have learned that I like the problem solving aspect of
