Put Animals In Captivity

Do you think it is good to keep animals in captivity? I do, here’s why. Here is my opinion on this topic which will be explained farther into the essay. We should keep animals in captivity because the zoo is a great way for urban citizens to see wildlife on a tight budget, a great way of income for some city run zoos, and a great way of entertainment.

I . Animal captivity is common in many zoos and aquariums worldwide. It has been going on for more than 50 years and many people enjoy watching it but it needs to end right away. Animals captivity is when they take a healthy animal from the wild and put them in bad conditions that tend to make them die faster. There has been a lot of deaths of animals and people from animals in captivity because they got taken away from their homes, and they aren’t used to being touched or screamed at to do something which they don't do it the wild. Cruelty towards animals in captivity can be reduced if animals could no longer be in captivity.

By discussing and comparing how animal captivity has affected these endangered animals clarity can be gained as to what is successful, what needs improvement and what is detrimental to certain species when it comes to captivity

Animals kept in zoos has always been a controversial decision. Zoos have been around for 4,000 years. Many people argue about the impact a zoo has on an animal and the world. According to the article, ”Zoos: The Historical Debate”, “Some people argue that zoos play an important role in conservation of endangered animals, others say that zoos do more harm than good.” I believe that zoos play an important role in conservation. They also educate us about animals. Finally, zoos entertain us in many ways. In my opinion, zoos impact the world in a good way.

Scientists, zoologists, and the staff at zoos all agree that by keeping species in captivity, the species is benefiting from it. For some species, captivity is the only reason why their species is surviving. For example, the amount of tigers that are owned by private individuals

There are different opinions on the subject matter. Some people support the rights of animals to the extent, that they find it extremely cruel to keep them in captivity, comparing it to imprisonment, whilst others say captivity of animals is essential to their further existence and well-being. Many neutral analyst on this debate topic have pointed to the fact that acting in accordance to moral and emotional notions is not the most ideal approach on such a complicated and ambiguous problem such as this. Rather the important question that should be emphasized upon, is what manner of living would be most beneficial for animals?

In the end, I believe that animals in captivity is good, because it helps fund organizations, saves animals from extinction, and helps educate people. We all should educate ourselves on exotic animals and their needs, we should also force permits to keep/capture exotic

While it is impossible to duplicate the wild environment in captivity, there are still many improvements that can be made to ensure captive animals are living as good of a life as they can under the circumstances. Taking a family trip to the zoo with the kids generally entails a day of bright grins and exotic entertainment. Children feast their beady eyes on the foreign animals showcased, in awe at their fascinating performances. Despite the exhilaration generated at these locations, people fail to realize the gruesome reality that occurs behind the scenes of zoo. Although animal captivity provides amusement and is said to be educational, it remains to be a cruel practice that should require stricter regulation because of the inhumane circumstances that zoos subject the animals to.

There are thousands of zoos and circuses around the world that display various animals in them. The zoos are for people to look, learn, and “protect” the animals. The zoo's also breed, sell, and buy animals. Wild animals should not be kept in captivity because while they are in captivity, they suffer from stress, boredom, and confinement, similarly they get separated from their family and environment.
