This group exercise is based on Michael Michalko, an author and best seller of numerous books on creativity like, Thinkertoys (A Handbook of Business Creativity), ThinkPak (A Brainstorming Card Deck), Cracking Creativity (The Secrets of Creative Genius), and Creative Thinkering (Putting Your Imagination to Work). These books show how to combine and create completely different subjects into new and exciting original ideas. Michalko, has been awarded a gold medal for Thinkertoys by Success Magazine for creating a good business books. He stated “We see no more than we’ve been conditioned to see and stereotyped notion block clear vision and crowd out imagination (Michalko, 2010).” It may be believed that once some people have established a viewpoint they close off the one line of thought. Our perception attempts to make life easier by solving the first impression of the problem that it encounters such as, meeting people, going places, or seeing things and giving our opinion instead of facts (what’s real). Michalko believes our first perspective on complications and situations are apt to be restrained and superficial. Majority of the classmates could not figure out the message until we show it from a faraway angle. Then most of the classmates saw the message “No sex causes bad eyes”, but it took looking from a different angle to figure the message. The moral to the project is sometimes you have to step back or step away, to see things differently.

Creativity is an aspect that has a wide span in our existence. our existence has evolved through the means of creativity. Although when someone usually thinks about creativity they think about the arts and music. yet creativity is not limited to pretty and aesthetic items, but to the power of creation. The power of metamorphosis; transforming something or creating it anew. In society the ideal of creativity is sadly mixed with the perception of the arts and not taken with high regard. Now we live in a society where logos is more respected than pathos. Especially in the city of D.C where individuals in suits roam the city creating an impenetrable mist of sophisticatedness, with a population of 88percent of college graduates. yet in the heart of D.C. within this paper we will use the case of the Mansion on O st, a museum, library, and thrift shops. In the context of creativity’s stated definition, we will proceed to group our arguments into three themes of factors: cognitive ability, expertise training, and environmental conditions. The human brain is highly adaptable and can continue to develop new cognitive abilities, even past adulthood (Norman, 2015). Proper cognitive expertise and training can help workers produce and operate in ingenious ways (Ginamarie, Lertiz & Mumford, 2004). Finally, the working environment can both motivate or stifle creative output. Managers can influence all three components: expertise, thinking skills, and motivation (Amabile, 1998).
