This paper will analyze the quality at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. The paper will evaluate the company 's portfolio as depicted by the case study for business problems; and briefly, summarize relevant background information about the case, and describe how the company dealt with its issues. The paper will also comment on the appropriateness of these actions taken by the company, In addition to enumerating ways the company can measure their success in achieving quality. Included in this paper is a brief discussion of what to expect from a company intending for their name to be synonymous with quality in the business arena. Furthermore, the analysis of topics such as why it’s in the best interest of the company to always do the right thing is included in this paper. Additionally, the use of the control charts, Pareto diagrams, and cause-and-effect diagrams for the identification of quality problems at hotels is discussed. Finally, some nonfinancial measures of customer satisfaction that Ritz-Carlton might use are listed. State any business problem that the enterprise needs to resolve. Based on the information from the case study, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel has no business problems.
