I am Political Science student from Rhode Island, and I believe that I am the best suited candidate to serve this class as Vice President. As the largest class in school history, we are bound to have a massive impact on the future of this university. I want to make sure that student government works closely with our class, in order to create new opportunities and make Quinnipiac the best it can possibly be. I won’t make any fancy promises, but I can guarantee one thing. I will bring new opportunities to the table, and I will get things done.

BROOKLYN, N.Y.--Day two of the second round was another day of blowouts, upsets and hard-fought battles to the end.
As Senior Class Vice President, I serve the senior class by planning homecoming activities and using social media to keep our class
Francis Marion University’s 47th year officially begins with the start of regular fall classes on Aug. 22-23. Approximately 4,000 students are expected for the Fall semester.
Norfolk State University, a historically black university, is rich in history and deeply rooted in the south eastern Virginia region. NSU is the only HBCU founded in the midst of the great depression. Since, NSU has grown tremendously over the last eighty years. Now, the campus spans 134 acers and has 40 buildings, four of which were newly built as of 2011. Through partnerships with neighboring universities, community organizations and business vendors, Norfolk State provides vital services to this area. It is a pristine center of education and a hub of black excellence and achievement. Needed now, more than ever, is a reflection on NSU’s political, cultural and social relevance in 2015.
It has been a goal of mine to help Conestoga High School in becoming a better place since the first day I started here. If I am elected as the Vice President of NHS, I will create opportunities which promote the four pillars of NHS – service, leadership, character, and scholarship– in our school and community. As past Community Chair and current Treasurer of Key Club as well as Business Editor of Literary Magazine, I have many leadership qualities that will help me be a successful officer of NHS, including dedication, reliability, and excellent communication skills
Arriving to campus on time has usually been an issue for commuting Canadian students. This is not only a problem for them, but Wayne State is also affected in the process. With students arriving late, there would be missed lectures and barely any work done. In turn, Wayne State’s reputation as a school is affected negatively as these commuters would start considering switching to other schools. In fact, some high school graduates from Canada would not even think about attending classes at Wayne State due to its lack of an uncomplicated transportation system.
Good morning class of 2019. I am Tori Cichelero, and I am running for Freshman Class President. As a president, my job would be to stabilize each and every single one of us, because we are new to the community of Ursuline Academy. I will make sure we are all involved, so we all get to be connected into the school. In order to be involved, we all have to take risk and try new things. Trying new things can be scary, but it can be so much better when you have a leader to guide you. My guidance can make us freshman the best possible class by using our intelligence, hard-work, responsibility, and kindness. When I think of Ursuline Academy, I think of how great our class is. Each classmate in front of me right now means so much to me. Your grades,
This year the people in office will provide many things for the student body. They all have different mindsets
Siena Heights University was founded in 1919 by the Adrian Dominican Sisters in Adrian, Michigan. It was first established under the name Saint Joseph’s College, and by the 1950’s it was recognized as one of the ten best women’s liberal arts colleges (“Mission and Statements, n.d.). The name was changed in 1975 to honor Saint Catherine of Siena who dedicated her life to the pursuit of truth and social responsibility. The school started out as a women college with a specialty in teaching but during the 60’s it became co-ed. In 1975 the school started a revolutionary project by helping adult students attain a higher education degree (“Mission and Statements, n.d”). This allowed the school to begin opening satellite sites to help students who
I have been attending Anthem Prep for five consecutive years and I am applying the role of Freshman Class Representative. To make it more interesting for our students to get involved, Anthem Prep has been making changes to its student life and topics relating to it. Though our school has made significant progress, I believe the upcoming student government will improve our student body and their lives on campus.
I also feel as though becoming Vice President would be a great new learning experience. I enjoy taking on new challenges and gaining knowledge. I have the self-motivation to be Vice President. I am also hardworking, caring, and creative. These qualities would make me a great addition to the student council.
Being president of the Sophomore Class would be a wonderful opportunity to exercise my strengths and abilities. I think, with my strengths, I would be a great candidate for Class President. I am very interactive and open to new ideas of my classmates, especially when it can better our grade and our future as students. I show outstanding leadership that encourages others to further engage in their positions and responsibilities. To me, I think that it’s important to function as a unit rather than having unbalanced strengths. I would encourage others to be their own leader and make sure they fully indulge in their positions. I accept all responsibilities that come with the position including attendance to the meetings and to school, having good
Initially, I would like to list all of the qualities I shall bring to the Student Council. I am very respectful of my peers and teachers. I have numerous academic accomplishments which I believe a president must not only be a good role model for the rest of the student body but also lead in academics as well. In addition to my academic skills I developed leadership skills that I have obtained from Beta and 4-H. In these clubs I have learned how to communicate and work in groups I am very flexible at taking on any task and conforming to each and every job when it is needed of me.
First and foremost, thank you for being here in support of the student government association. I want to thank our amazing dean Edina for encouraging me to run for vice president of SGA. Many people have asked me why I am running for vice president. Would you ask a fifth grader if he is going to go to the 6th grade? No right because they have to keep going to the next level. Ever since I came to the University of Bridgeport, I constantly looked for ways to become more involved and to keep having an impact in the university. Every year, here at the University of Bridgeport I am involved in something new. Whether it's being an OL, President of a Club or even starting a chapter/club which is known as the food recovery network, with the help of my peers. The food recovery network have recovered more than 300 pounds of food that would otherwise have been thrown out.
