This thesis is detailing Quintin Tarontino and his influence on film, exampling his greatly distinctive work in the film industry. Discussing his distinctive style in film with “Reservoir Dogs”,”Pulp Fiction” “Kill Bill, Series” and discussing his style in a more recent film “Django Unchained” to see his film styles adaptation. Seeing the effects his sometimes taboo and controversial films had on the film industry. Showing his rise to fame from the school boy who loathed school. To the director that became a well known and respected director.

Rise to fame
Quintin Tarintino born 1963 27th of March, Knoxville, Tennessee. At 4 years old Tarantino moved to Torrence, California where he attended Fleming Junior High School (Wikipedia, 2015)(Biography.com, …show more content…

Reseviour dogs screenplay was written by Tarantino, the film was well received by critics at the Sundance Film Festival the dialogue driven hiest film flashed out his tone and style as a director (Biography.com2015). A Year later he released pulp fiction written and directed by himself. This film bought him out of the cult film status and into celebrity Status. Many awards were given to the film, with a Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film festival (Biography.com2015). Pulp fiction launched him into everything from Cameos on smaller productions and directing episodes for TV shows like ER. He would go on to make and be apart of many films as a producer actor and screenplay writter (Nytimes.com, 2015). it wasn't until the release of “Kill Bill” Sega which was originally envisioned as a single release but was eventually split into two films, “Kill Bill Vol 1” and “Kill Bill Vol 2” (Nytimes.com, 2015).“Kill Bill” was a homage to Asian cinema with a strong 70s revenge theme (Nytimes.com, 2015). The over the top violence from the first film in comparison with the heavily dialogue driven plot in the 2nd gives it a great contrast and a different film to each film (Nytimes.com, 2015).
