Quintin's Break-Personal Narrative

Hi guys! This past weekend we were graced with a much needed fall break. After a few weeks of constant studying, it was nice to have a four day weekend to sit back and relax. After my two tests on Friday I drove seven hours to meet my dad and my girlfriend's dad in Pittsfield Illinois for a few day hunting trip at a lease that my dad has. It was a long drive, but it was worth it when I arrived to a 16oz prime rib at one of my favorite restaurants, the Red Dome. Unfortunately the corn and soybeans had not yet been cut around our farm so we did not see as many deer as usual, but we still had fun and relaxed for a few days.

They were always hungry and their parents were not working because Rose Mary was lazy and Rex was drunk most of the time. The siblings had to fetch food from trashcans at school in stealth mode. Maureen solved the problem by going over to her friend’s house and had dinner with them. Brain, Lori, and Jeannette all had to scavenge for their food and clothes. Until one day they just had enough essentially, leading them to leave their parents and began the journey to acquire a prosperous life. They began saving up for the expenses of transportation, Lori made posters and Jeanette worked in Jewelry store and bay-sat and Brain mowed lawns. They were saving it in a piggy bank, but one day Jeanette came home to an empty piggy bank, she knew it was her father. When Lori, and Bran found out they were furious the siblings all waited patiently for Rex to arrive. They waited three days but when arrived he was drunk and not long after pasted out. The sibling realized it was pointless arguing with Rex, he just made them feel even more miserable. Eventfully another opportunity came up; Mrs. Sanders offered Jeanette and opportunity to escape by offering her a job in Iowa babysitting and a buying her ticket back home. Jeanette change the offer to ticket to New York city and it was a deal. The twist was as bad as Jeanette wanted to live

The Break Book Talk Details The book I did for this assignment was the break by Katherena Vermette which was published in 2016. Setting The setting of this book is the break, (a desolite bit of land) selric avenue, a hospital, phoenix’s uncles home and a place called the centre.

Using money that was embezzled from his father's firm, he checks himself into a fine hotel to live this life long dream. He wraps himself up in all the luxury that he knew would one day come to him. He dressed himself in fine clothes, ate in the dining hall, and went out on a night on the town with a college boy that he met. Jamie Waldo, one of South Windsor’s best and brightest, is making the most of her high school career. There are so many wonderful adjectives that come to mind when one thinks of Jamie: focused, responsible, hardworking, and caring are just a few. Frequently she is seen throughout the school actively involved. Jamie is not one to boast or brag about her accomplishments, but quietly relishes the success from her tireless effort. She is a friendly individual who is motivated and excited about what the future may hold. It is readily apparent that Jamie knows that we are all given but one life and she is determined to make the most of it.

Sea gulls bickered on the warm, morning breeze over head. The waves lulled the vessel boat to-and-fro as it skimmed through Blackwater Bay. The water sparkled like sapphires, clear and bright under the sun. From the bow of the boat, Alayna peered out towards the Narrow Sea. Beyond the bay, adventure called her like a siren song. She longed to explore the lands beyond Westeros. However, this voyage wouldn’t ferry her towards that dream. She’d continue to dream of that journey. The schooner wouldn’t be sailing beyond the bay.

The smell of freshly baked bread filled Jimin’s nose as he awkwardly walked around downtown NY. He tried to blend in with the locals, but everything he did made him stand out. He was dashingly handsome with a strong athletic build and chocolate brown eyes. There was nothing normal about him and the more normal he tried to walk, the more uncoordinated he looked. I sat there nervous , thinking this is it I have to do this ,It's now or never . I can feel the sweat coming down my forehead ,my hands also sweaty as I gripped the steering wheel.My shot at getting my drivers license was finally here . I can feel the driving instructor watch my every move . But let's go back a couple of weeks to the one day I decided I was ready to get behind the wheel . My 15th birthday , in my culture when a girl turns 15 they are coming into adult hood and there is a big celebration called Quinceañera. I was not to happy with the celebration all I really wished for was to have my own car . My parents on the other and it being tradition they didn't really ask for my opinion . Lance has always been a fun and kind person who always pushes through in hard times. Last year, during one of the testing days, when we got to go to school late, I went surfing with him and some other friends from the team. We had been out for an hour or so, and the waves had started to get bigger and bigger. I had just caught a wave and was paddling back out when Lance took off on a massive one farther out. I watched as he dropped in and he hit his board very weirdly; he got worked. It turns out he'd broken his ankle and we had to go in. (rush back to shore?)

Last month, I asked a student named Kris in my government class to be my partner for a group project. After I asked him, he looked at me with a blank expression, My heart was racing with the anticipation of his answer. I thought to myself, “This was a mistake, I should not have done this.” Then, as soft as a whisper, he said “sure.” I was not sure what to do next. Awkwardly, I nodded and went back to my seat.
