Rational and Approach In the moving preparation phase of this project, the first risk identified was whether or not my family would support the move or not. Knowing that my family doesn’t understand the want to move away, I had a fifty-fifty chance they would support me. If they didn’t, I knew it would impact my willingness to go. Regardless if they approved of the move or not, I knew I needed to do this in order to live the life I wanted to live. Therefore, I had to accept their response, even if it was bad. At the end of they day, I had to make a choice that would make me happy. The next risk, was the ability to find an apartment in a secure neighborhood that would let me rent from them, even though I didn’t have a job in Denver yet. While I knew this was a risk, I didn’t think it was a high risk. I knew I had a high credit score and I had already established myself as a reliable renter. I knew I would be able to find an apartment complex that would allow me to rent a place, prior to having proof of current employment. Since I didn’t think this a high risk, I didn’t think it would be very likely it would have a large impact on my move. If anything, it just caused a little extra stress because I had to give extra proof of my assets and good renting history. I accepted this risk because there wasn’t anything else I could do to avoid this risk. I knew it was a possibility, but given my history and assets, I knew I would be able to find a place to live.
