My supervisor requested a self-evaluation in connection with an upcoming annual performance review, the self evaluation was meant to answer questions regarding
A certain customer service decision and accommodations made by me that went beyond company standard operating procedure and protocols.
Conio-caca Graphics Imaging Corporation ordered my team to perform a systems installation for a small publishing company in North Miami. The installation was to be performed according to company standards; first the hardware which included an image setter and then a “Mac Server” running OS 10 (Operating system version 10) followed by installing specialized software to interface with a desktop publishing application.
Upon completing the installation

Later, the customer was able to order a CD-ROM from Apple, which arrived in several weeks but had no problem getting his work out during this period.
CRITERIA
The rational model assumes the solution with the highest sum should be selected as the optimal decision. The identified criteria (7); customer satisfaction, operability, reliability, minimal interruption of his business cycle, quality service, the application of Hi-tech solutions to Hi-tech problems, compliance with company protocols. Seven criteria have been identified, each given an equal weight of 1 point for succeeding and, – (minus) 1 point for failing. Alternative 1 (leaving the client high and dry waiting for a CD-ROM) presented as 6x -1= -6 +1 (+1 for compliance with my supervisors decision) produced a net result of -5. Computing the optimal decision (Bazerman, Max H. Judgment in Managerial Decision Making, 5th edition. New York: John Wiley & Sons. 2002), meant using the same criteria applied to Alternative 2; assisting the client toward getting the system operational and still comply with company requirements. The seven criteria yielded 6x1= 6 –1 (-1 for not complying with my supervisors decision) resulting in in an optimal decision net result of +5.
EVALUATION

Hays (2008) discussed privilege and biases based on culture and how these privileges and biases can affect a therapist’s work. Having a healthy understanding of self-identity can help understand the role of privilege and biases. In order to help self-reflect, Hays (2008) presented the ADDRESSING model which includes age, disability (born with), disability (acquired), religion, ethnicity/race, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, indigenous status, nationality, and gender. This ADDRESSING model will be applied in this paper.
Scriven (1991) would argue that evaluation has been around for many years, and is only now recognised as a discipline. He would go further and say it is like a knowledge which has been around for a decade before we were discussing its use, nature and logic. It is essentially different from science in its methods and thought. He would argue it is only recently we have appreciated its value as a discipline we still have a long way to go.
Before making an important decision, it is very important to set up clear goals of the decision. In the prompt, the town of Surette must decide whether to convert the abandoned building into a private office space or a new community center. The town has developed two distinct goals they want to accomplish through the decision. One of the goals is to gain revenue from the conversion of the building. The other goal is to increase the standard of living for the citizens of Surette. This is a very difficult decision because each option has its strengths and weaknesses. Nevertheless, we can simplify this decision by employing the rational decision making model discussed in our textbook. In order to reach a rational decision, I will review the information provided in the
This report has been prepared for Professor XXX. This report summarizes the complete review of Donna Dubinsky’s career at Apple Computer as the Director of Distribution and Sales Administration and the proposed distribution system. In addition, Donna Dubinsky’s response and handling of the proposed distribution system will be assessed.
Since the dawn of the information age, computers have developed into a very important part of society. They are increasingly being integrated with numerous aspects of human life, and have become a necessity in many college and business settings. Two major corporations that capitalize on this integration are Microsoft and Apple, and while they may appear identical, the difference between Microsoft’s Personal Computer and Apple’s Macintosh becomes much more apparent when affordability, variety, and vulnerability are considered. Ultimately, a PC is a better purchase than a Macintosh.
I chose to base my studies on J because we shared a lot in common; we are both Christians living in a predominantly Muslim country. He is eleven years old. His parents are Jordan nationals who have lived in Bahrain for at least two years. J goes to school at Naseem International School where I work. The school offers PYP programs. Lessons are conducted in English; however, Arabic lessons are also offered per week. Majority of kids in this school are Muslims most of whom are Bahrainis. Other nationalities making the student population are Saudis, Lebanese, Jordanians, few South Africans, and other Arabian Gulf countries. Teachers are a mixture of nationalities. Some of them are Arabs, others South Africans, while some are Europeans.
Provide a description of a scenario in which this kind of decision between two choices, based on weighing their underlying attributes, applies in the “real-world” business setting. Furthermore, what are the benefits and drawbacks, if any, to this method of decision making?
During my time as a computing services technician at Mount Allison University I gained some valuable experience in the IT field. One thing that stands out immediately is the experience of working and maintaining Apple devices. We received some introduction to Apple hardware and a short program on Apple operating systems with Mr. Murray, but did not work with Apples on a regular basis. I regularly worked on Apples in the PC lab.
Women use more legal drugs, most of which are prescribed by male physicians to keep them calm. Women’s illicit drug use has been increasing rapidly in the 1990s in the world. Homeless women have a high prevalence of risky use of illegal drugs (Upshur et al,. 2013). Homeless women intend to have low self-esteem and low motivation that can result in a high risk of drug and alcohol dependence. Prospective studies have found that a current substance use disorder, or frequent continued consumption of drugs are associated with lower prospects of exiting from homelessness, prolonged episodes of homelessness, and housing instability. Despite the high need, homeless women report limited use of addiction services (Upshur et al,. 2013). Roberston et al, found that 43.5% of homeless adults identified a need for addiction treatment but had not received services, while Wenzel et al, reported only 27.5% of homeless adults with substance use disorder had accessed inpatient or residential treatment in the last year, with even fewer, 5.6%, having any outpatient treatment (Upshur

Whilst working at Ladbrokes, there was a day when I was working with a trainee cashier, I was just leaving counter to go on a break, when a customer came up to the cashier with a problem with his Ladbrokes loyalty card, where he should have been issued a free bet on his card but it hadn't been processed. I knew the new cashier wouldn't known what to do, so I came back behind the counter to help. The customer insisted he would wait until later, after I had finished my break, but I assured him it wasn't a problem. I couldn't fix the problem myself, so I had to ring customer services. I spent over 15 minutes on hold, I then had to explain to them the issue and was put on hold again whilst they looked into the problem. I was apologising to the
Before taking this course my writing styles and habits were very different. I was the typical procrastinator because I would wait until the night before a paper was due to start it. This did not allow me enough time to properly proofread everything, which resulted in getting points deducted for simple grammatical errors that could have been avoided if I would have had the time to proofread. My writing styles have many strengths and weaknesses and I have been able to improve my writing because of them. I have learned from my strengths and weaknesses how to become a better writer.
Rational choice theory, also known simply as choice theory, is the assessment of a potential offender to commit a crime. Choice theory is the belief that committing a crime is a rational decision, based on cost benefit analysis. The would-be offender will weigh the costs of committing a particular crime: fines, jail time, and imprisonment versus the benefits: money, status, heightened adrenaline. Depending on which factors out-weigh the other, a criminal will decide to commit or forgo committing a crime. This decision making process makes committing a crime a rational choice. This theory can be used to explain why an offender will decide to commit burglary, robbery, aggravated assault, or murder.
Many methods have been developed to simplify the decision making process. In this paper, the rational model of decision making will be discussed first. Then, some of the factors that cause deviation in the rational
