Reading Comprehension Difficulty in English Subject is one of the problems encountered by the grade 5 pupils in Balnasan Elementary School, which is the problem chosen by the researcher to be given some solution. It always involves thinking. The grade 5 pupils find it difficult in understanding and elaborating what they read, that leads them have a poor class performance. Wherein, as a would-be-teacher it is very necessary for us to find ways or solution to this problem.

II. IDENTIFICATION OF THE PROBLEM: One of the major problems of the pupils in English nowadays is reading comprehension. The grade 5 pupil has the same problem. After a series of observation conducted by the researcher they found out that the said pupils has a difficulty in reading comprehension, this was asserted by the following indications:
♣ The pupils have difficulty in getting the main idea of what they read, even though it has been read for the fourth times;
♣ Bowing their heads during recitation was obviously
