Matthew.campagna Spy vs spy Fiction and nonfiction Real spies and fake spies are so much more different than you think. Do you really think spies can just become spies in a day? No, spy gadgets are much more different for fake spies than they are in real life. Also the stunts that real spices and fake spies do are completely different. Real spies attend to special camps in the middle of nowhere, where they learn to hack computers, tap phones, how to hide in plain sight, fight, use gadgets, and more. They attend to this camp for months or even years. Unlike real spies, fake spies train for maybe a day or just do not train at all. (Give an example of where you have seen this before). Each spy had their own reasons for becoming a spy and most people did it for money.
Espionage is the practice of using spies to collect information for political or military reasons and has been around since wars have been fought. Sun Tzu speaks about gathering intelligence and deception in The Art of War. The Egyptians had a large espionage service that has been recorded in books such as the Bible and the Liliad. Espionage is still being used to collect information today. The tools for spies and their missions have been extremely dangerous and creative ; World War Two is a great example of this.
When asked about spies, most people instinctively think of James Bond, a member of the British Secret Service. Most people don’t know however that this classical character was inspired by the true events, of places like Camp X, where 007’s creator, Ian Fleming, was trained as an intelligence officer. Most stories of the Second World War revolve around the great battles, such as the Battle of Normandy. While these battles were remarkable, the critical victories of the Second World War may not have been possible without the vigorous and fearless effort of spies and operatives, who can influence the result of crucial operations for the betterment of their own objectives. Training camps were vital for producing

Spies meant a lot to our country and to the British colony.”Bakeless. Spies of the revolution. Place of publication not identified: Harpercollins, 1962. Print”. There is many spies who were caught but some lived to tell their story. No one really knows why someone would risk their life for really nothing in return. But we are glad they did. Now that the spies made history back in the early days of war, spies still exist. They are usually rare because we have so much better technology. Like drones, many bots, etc. Invisible letters are not used in today’s society nor are mask letters. Most likely because of the modern society’s knowledge and they are more cautious than the old days. We would like to
Spies have always been popular in fiction and history. As kids, we perceive them as people dressed in black with spy gadgets that we could never even imagine, but then as we get older we start to realize there is more than just gadgets and black uniforms. Everyday, spies risk their lives. This made me think what it would be like to be a spy during a war, and specifically during World War II.
The Junior Spies seems to be very widespread, and they seem to function as a pseudo-secret police. Members of the Hitler Youth harassed the Jews, while members of the Junior Spies harassed people they thought were guilty of Thought Crimes. It is very startling to realize

If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle" (Sun Tzu). Espionage is the secret gathering of information on rival countries for military purposes. However, espionage in other countries is considered illegal: Even though it gains valuable information that could protect our country. Although many spies got caught and was sentence to life in jail or death, the espionage in World War II was effective because it gave information about the enemies and what there next move was going to be. Espionage in World War II had three major components which were code breaking, traditional spying, and deception operations.
Females, specifically female spies, were given a new role in society that would earn them the success to revolutionize the gender roles of the world. The identity of a woman changed drastically as a result of growing political and diplomatic tensions in many countries throughout World War II. In the beginning, most women were content with fulfilling the suburban housewife role. Then, partially due to their necessity, and partially do to society’s role of evolution, women became the key to a functioning society. No longer were women seen as the weak link in society; they finally had a purpose other than being a housewife. Without hesitation, the wives and mothers of America rose up and offered their services to anywhere that would accept, including espionage.
In my opinion, real spies are better than the movie spies. To start, unlike fictional spies, real spies are almost never thought to be a threat. In the movies the villain almost always know there is a spy and sometimes even know exactly who they are. Real spies are just part of the crowd. You would never be able to tell they were a spy.
The spies are also silenced which brings out their “sneakiness”. And just like the proles they are silenced until they’re needed. The spies don’t have a say in what goes on in Oceania and Air-Strip One either because they can’t exactly who they are.
