Reasons Why Joining Vita (VITA)

I have always like studying and helping others. I realized that without education people, I, don´t have a future or an opportunity in life. Joining the Beta Club is a way for me to get experience and knowledge in something that I like to do or something I will like to do. Helping others with an activity that they can´t do by themselves without getting a reward but just the knowledge that you did something good, is a great thing to feel. Aiming towards my goals and dreams is one of my main priorities. Dedicating my time and effort towards it, is letting me become a better student, citizen, and person.

The decision to volunteer is perfect for me for numerous reasons. No mandatory time commitment, volunteers generally serve an average of three to five hours per week and are asked for 24 hours of total volunteer time. The program is usually open from mid-January through the tax filing deadline in April. Also, convenient locations; VITA sites are located in numerous communities throughout Southeast Michigan. Often sites are set up in libraries, neighborhood centers, schools, shopping malls and other similar places. Currently, I have a family commitments that prevent me from moving to Northern/Central California. But I am willing to accept a part-time / floater position within a commutable distance.

As I started Bloomfield College I have always been interest in joining a sorority. I went to many different interested meeting and none of them caught my attention like Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority Inc. did. When I sat down and listen to their history and their goals it really made me change my mind and realize that Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority Inc. was the one. I am a proud Latina and to know that they were the first sorority ever created to cater towards the needs of Latinas in the nation made me more excited and enthusiastic on being part of the interested ladies. The main thing that captured my interest was to know that Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority Inc. is a scholarly excellence sorority. As any person would think a sorority is about partying and having fun I believe this one focus more on their educational future and to achieve their goals.

Why should i be accepted into Aveda? I have a really big passion for hair. Ever since my fifth grade career project. I have been so dedicated the past four years of high school. I have had many early early mornings just so i could ride along to with a lady that does weddings and just watch her techniques while she did hair and makeup. I spend countless hours watching youtube videos on different hairstyles and makeup application.

The three main reasons I am excited to join a sorority include my personal development, loyalty and friendship, and support of my aspirations. As a sister, there is an expectation of social interaction and personal development. I am confident that my experience and communication skills will be enriched by the activities that I participate in, the responsibility I take, and the people I meet. I am looking forward to making friends for life. I think that the atmosphere and set up of a sorority fosters and encourages the development of lifelong friendships through common aims and shared experiences. I also believe that sorority life emphasizes and encourages loyalty to and among the sisterhood, my school and the nation. Support from my sisters

I would like to join Beta Club to further my leadership skills and to work with teenagers my age to help fundraise for the needy. It’s important to help out our community locally. This means both actively helping out at different agencies such as soup kitchens and animal shelters, as well as helping to keep our environment clean. By working together, I think we will all be able to reach our goals and will be able to impact our community. Along the way we will help others and gain valuable life skills.

When asked why do you want to be in National Honors Society, many things came to my mind. Some being, the awesome volunteer projects, the camaraderie of being in the Society and the joy of being in such a highly regarded club. I want the opportunity to be part of this club because I believe in the activities they participate in and I believe that I am a perfect fit for National Honor Society. Additionally I want to be in National Honor Society because I think it offers up many great opportunities.

I would be a valuable member to the NHS because of my strive for greatness in everything and for my personality full of leadership qualities. I am a very hard worker and enjoy helping others. I wish to join the NHS to develop character, become a better leader, and encourage excellence in academics, extra-curricular activities, and in the community. When i put my mind to something, I do it. While being a useful member to the NHS at Thornapple Kellogg high school, I wish to be seen as a leader by my peers and community. I am very qualified in all criteria of being a successful student/leader with plenty of character and service experience.

I understand what kinds of students are needed in this organization. In order to meet the request, I tried my best to stand up in the areas of scholarship, leadership, character and service. For academy, I am a passionate student who likes facing challenges. I maintain a G.P.A of 4.0 for two years, and became the top 2 students in my Biology, Algebra II, ESL, Honor Pre-calculus classes. I am also a math purple team member and attended the state math competition.

Members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated have made everlasting effects on my life. Having mentors in this fraternity allowed me to see how every member feels responsible for improving the communities that they are from. They never hesitate to take the leadership roles that are needed to see change. I would like to become a member of Alpha Phi Alpha because it would allow us to share a brotherhood with great men, it will allow me to make valuable connections with other positive men around the world, and it will help me become the best version of myself. My desire to become a member of this fraternity began my freshmen year after I attended the first informational meeting. At this meeting I was able to speak with members and also learn from them. They each have strong leadership characteristics that allow them to serve on executive boards across campus and they all are high achieving students at Cornell.

I could have chosen to do anything with my non-academic time, but this club is important to me because I have an opportunity to work towards better the environment around me through applying my engineering skills. The Earth is not ours to exploit and use, but a gift that we are keeping safe for future generations. This has always been in the forefront of my mind in my every endeavor. Through researching

I’m currently seeking membership in Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated, for brotherhood and a friendship, with successful leaders who strive to compel an impact in their communities. Through all my interactions and meeting with members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, the features that stood out to me the most that made me personally want to become a member were the friendship they held with each other, and those of similar characteristics. The fact that they were willing to help other men continue to grow and better themselves in any way they could. The men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated that I have met, have pushed myself to become a better man and friend. These bonds have added a value to my life that I am forever grateful for.

I haven’t done much in the club so far, but there are multiple opportunities for me to get involved in the future. I already met so many new friends through this club and I can tell these people will be my friends until the day we graduate from college. By going to some of the Collegiate FFA/Ag. Education meetings, I learned of different engagement opportunities and made new friends as well.

As I sought out to become a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. I saw that the organization matches my personality and what I stand for. My true passion is to make a difference in this world, I desire to make a significant impact on the lives of the youths to inspire them to reach their full potential. I know that Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity was established to accomplish the same things that I do, this is one of the many reasons I aspire to join this great fraternity.
