The Problem and its Background
PROBLEM
Reasons why students violate school rules and regulations
INTRODUCTION
The researcher was an alumnus from a private secondary school in Legazpi City, he has been observing student violators facing real problems in the school. This give way to decide in this type of study, the willingness and interest to know the reality in students behaviour on what reasons why students violates the rules and regulations inside the school. At present, the researcher of this simple research is a first year student in A.B.

Schools provide the guidelines as disciplinary measures for students and for teacher supervisions. No school is exempted from student violators, very school year the school experience the difficulty in schools discipline. Teachers and parents are collaborators in disciplining the violators.
DEFINITION OF TERMS The researcher likes to focus on the following definition of terms so as to attain the research better and simple. 1. School, is an institution designed for teaching the students (or pupils) under the direction of teachers. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/School)1 2. Student, is someone who attends an educational institution or someone who studies especially at a school. (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/student).2 3. Teacher, is the one who teaches in a school and a person especially hired by the school. (Learner’s Dictionary)3 4. Violations, is to break a law or regulations intentionally or unintentionally. (Webster New Dictionary) 4 5. Parent, is the caretaker of their offspring. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parent)5
RELATED LITERATURE The act of doing something that is not allowed by a law or rule and the act of ignoring or inferring with a person’s rights. (Learner’s Dictionary)6 In like manner, it is been an old story, when teen agers left home for school, they thrill at the
School is a place where individuals grow, develop, and explore their future interests. This necessitates that the classroom is an environment where students feel supported, respected, and competent. I
Student discipline is one of the most important aspects of the classroom. I believe that structure and classroom management are two components that contribute to this greatly. Teachers in the beginning of the year must implement rules and routines that all Students are expected to follow. It would also be beneficial if the students took part in creating these rules. Within the first weeks of school, the teacher and students should be practicing these procedures so that students can get comfortable with the routine and know what is expected of them. If the students are aware of the rules of the classroom then there will be no surprises when the consequence is given for breaking them.
School Students: These are students who are at the school level and enrolled in courses such as: English, reading, writing, math and
Students all have their own personalities, which affects their actions within the classroom. Many times, a students’ behavior is caused by outside factors causing them to act out with disruptive behaviors and disciplinary issues. During these times, a teacher must have a behavior management approach to deter similar behaviors in the future. Many first time teachers are unable to handle dealing with the behaviors and leave their jobs making it all the more important to come up with an effective behavior management approach to curtail those worrisome behaviors before it gets to that point (Sugai, 2009). In an effort to thoroughly discuss an efficient behavior management approach, a common disciplinary problem within classroom and the foundation of the issue will be considered. A combination of approaches may be to needed to stop behavioral issues, such as providing motivation and establishing rules and procedures in a clear way will deter behavioral issues. Finally, an in-depth look at the steps needed in order to implement the approach into the classroom.
Sometimes, the SROs programs have negative impacts on student’s life. Before, student misconduct was held by the teachers, but now it is controlled by the law enforcement in school (Beger 2002). For example, “five students were suspended and charged with crime for tossing peanuts at each other on a school bus” (Beger 2002:123). Schools have accepted the strict and high-security measures to protect students, but would result in diminishing the rights of students (Beger 2002). Students are searched without suspicion, especially the minority communities (Beger 2002). The unreasonable searches diminish the rights of students, which protect them from unreasonable search under the Charter of Rights and Freedom. It is clear that police in schools may impact negatively if the police officers conduct an unreasonable search based on class, racism, and gender. The result of zero tolerance in school leads more students’ school-to-prison pipeline, which results in more youth in prison. The zero-tolerance policy accepted in school to expel any students who involved in any illegal or misconduct behavior (Beger 2002). However, if the students feel that the police in schools and rules of school are fair and just, then eventually students will follow the rules and provide safer school surroundings (Beger 2002:127). Because the main reason of SRO is to prevent the drug issue, violence, shooting, threat, and maintaining law in school.
Education is the social institution through which society provides its members with important knowledge, including basic facts, job skills, and cultural norms and values (Macionis 406). Today, schooling differs from whether you are living in a high income
Education is the process of learning, whether it occurs at a specific building designed for that very reason, such as a school or an institution that provides opportunities for higher learning (college), or even somewhere as, conveniently accessible as home. Us humans are always learning and therefore being educated. Robert M. Hutchins, said, “The object of education is to prepare the young to educate themselves throughout their lives.” The principal education we are provided with, is what we gradually increase, improve on throughout our lives. Learning can also be done through experience, which is correlated with the idea that hands on learning stays in the memory longer and is more effective.
With the use of technology comes great responsibility which leads to another key in effective schools which is a whole school behavior policy. Students need to know that if they misbehave there will be consequences. In the article, “Reforming School Discipline” Derek W. Black speaks of the importance of creating a fair behavior policy where suspension is not a key element. In my school there will be a set of universal rules that will be used throughout the whole school. Teachers will not be able to create
around the school and are in each childâ€TMs contact diary. Children must complete a behaviour contract at the beginning of each school year to remind them of the expectations and to show their
Some students are also high risks in becoming a criminal due to lack of sociability to others. They think that everyone will punished them and embarrassment them to all. Students who violated the policies also denial their self esteem due to improper scolded by their teachers. They also tend to have no discipline among people who are higher than them.
nowadays school systems, such as the conflict between the parents and teachers, the argument of school suspension, and relationship between students’ expression of freedom and the school discipline.
Although, this may be so it still does not solidify the fact that students and teachers need
Education. It has one meaning, but conjures up diverse experiences based on the person and period of their life. Had I been asked the definition of education from the age of five to ten, my answer would have simply been: “Howe Hall AIMS.” Containing kindergarten to fifth grade, the Arts Infused Magnet School, also known as AIMS, managed to maintain a small student body. Due to a minuscule population and minimal admissions after kindergarten, there was a camaraderie among all. Toward the end of fifth grade, I faced the decision of keeping the camaraderie, environment, and close friends or leaving it all for another school. After much consideration, I chose to leave. However, the decision I made vaulted me into a school where I was virtually

School discipline is to ensure that students and the campus staff are safe and peaceful. According to the U.S. Department of Education on Rethinking Discipline (2017), “Teachers and students deserve school environments that are safe, supportive, and conducive to teaching and learning.” The idea is to decrease bad behavior and school violence which will lead to fewer suspensions and expulsions. There are rules and limitations when it comes to student discipline; there are acts in which students can and must be disciplined. For examples, if a student quality’s for special needs some different guidelines protect them under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act’s (IDEA). Furthermore, the Education Code, Section 48900 was implied to discipline students who committed any wrongful doing such as attempting or threatening to physical harm another person. In the case f any wrongfulness, the student is forced to be disciplined by being suspended or expulsed from school.
