There has been several issues when it comes to voting. There has been a debate whether voting should be mandatory or not. There are some governments that had made vote mandatory or else. People should be forced to vote because if they are forced to vote they may choose randomly because they probably just really don't care and that can hurt their country in a negative way and it is not educating and giving the people their natural rights also, the leading argument against compulsory voting is that it is not consistent with freedom associated with democracy.
Voting shouldn’t be mandatory because the people vote randomly and create invalid votes. “It has proved that forcing the population votes results in increased number of invalid blank votes.” In compulsory voting by Maria Gratschew, this quote shows that random voting isn't helping the country become better because people really don't care in making their country better so they just choose whatever they feel like.

In other words it is not giving citizens their right which is that they have the right of freedom according to the governments and the first amendment. For example, according text 2 it says “ Voting is not an intrinsic obligation and the enforcement of such a law would be an infringement of the citizen’s freedom associated democratic elections. It may discourage the political education of the electorate because people forced to participate will react against the perceived source of oppression.” In other words it says that it doesn’t give the citizens what they have been promised which is freedom and and if they feel like they are being forced to do something that they don't think is okay in their perspective they will feel uncomfortable and kind of
