Receiving A Scholarship

This scholarship would greatly aid in my ambition to become a Dental Hygienist. With it, I will be able to afford to attend the University of Arkansas in Fort Smith and to provide myself with the lifestyle that I want. It means that I will make my parents proud that their child has achieved her life goal.

Money is sadly one of the things that makes the world go round. With it books are bought and an education is paid for. This scholarship award would help pay for a tuition that I have been working hard for. I have had a job for just over a year and have been working thirty hour weeks in order to save up for college. I have four main goals: never have any debt, help pay for my three nieces’ and two nephews’ college expenses, give my time and money to society and be successful in a graphic design career. Financial resources are limited with my family of ten living on one income. This makes it hard to not have any debt while in college. Winning this scholarship will minimize the amount of student loans I would need to take out for living and educational expenses. Having less debt will allow me to put more money into my nieces’ and nephews’ college savings.
