Hello, I hope all is well at the clinic. This is Alexus Harris, I volunteered during the past summer at the clinic. I am emailing to ask if you could write me a letter of recommendation. I am applying to be an Resident Advisor(RA) at UVa next year. I really think I would be a great RA! I can help the student transition to college and be the extra support for the students. Also, unlike many people at UVa, I promote diversity of race, cultures, and religions. I would create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for my hall, if I were to be accepted as an RA. Also, I conduct myself well in college and do well in class, therefore, I would be a great role model to the first year students. The recommendation form is somewhat short. It has like 15
I can think of no finer officer or citizen than Major Kelcey Shaw for selection to the White House Fellowship Program. Kelcey has a proven record of providing leadership and ethics in everything he does from the classroom, office, and especially tactical environments. He is a combat veteran of Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom. He has two masters degrees, is a licensed Professional Engineer, and a certified Project Management Professional. He is an absolutely outstanding officer whose unique talents, personal drive, and dedication will ensure his success and allow him to make significant, positive contributions to the White House Fellowship Program and the Nation for years to come.
I'm applying for a couple of CDC internships for this summer and I wanted to to find out if you could write me a recommendation. There are two internships I'm applying to, but the same letter can be used for both and the letter would be due on January 20th when the earlier of the two applications are due. I understand this is a short window for a letter to be written so it is understandable if you are unable to do so. However, if you wouldn't mind writing one for me I would greatly appreciate it! Just let me know and I'll send you more information if you want to write
I am writing to you with interest of joining your team in the position ‘New Graduate Rehab RN’. I learned of the position from a dear friend of mine who is currently a member of your team. I plan to graduate from nursing school this upcoming May and am interested in this position because I believe that it will help further my skills, education and shape me into an outstanding nurse.
I am writing in reference to the Vice-President position available in the National Honor Society. I have a very strong interest in the Vice-President position and I believe that I am qualified for the job. With experience working in leadership positions in clubs at the collegiate school and outside of school, I have a diverse background with much to offer. It is my understanding that you are deluged with resumes for this position. Mine is one more, but I do have experience that is hard to come by.
I am writing this letter for Ms. Tierney D. Williams who is applying to Occupational Therapy Programs. The student will apply to more than one OT Program. I have only known the applicant for approximately two years. Ms. Williams is a resourceful, emotionally stable, and innovative person. She works well in a group or individual setting. Ms. Williams enthusiastically participated in classroom exercises and discussions. The student was enrolled in two classes that I teach, HLSC 4300-Epidemiology (earned “A” grade) and HCAP 2011-Writing Lab (earned “P” grade).
First and foremost, I think that it is most important for a Resident Advisor to be open and able to keep the peace within the resident’s hall. Whether it be dealing with roommate difficulties, confronting inappropriate behavior, or dealing with
Thank you very much for writing me a recommendation letter for the diversity fellowship. A recommendation from you will go a long way in helping me get this opportunity. Now that I have all of my application materials, I am excited to submit everything by the februrary1 deadline. Whether or not I get chosen for the fellowship, I am glad that I applied. I am also very lucky to have a respected communications professional like you recommend me for such a great opportunity. Don’t worry about mailing in the recommendation, just email it to me and I will send it with my application packet. Thank you for all your help.
I have been given the pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Eagle Scout candidate Ethan Lewis. I have know Ethan all of his life. Both in and out of scouts he lives by the Scout Oath and Law. He has served on the Resica Falls Scout Reservation camp staff for the past 4 year. While on staff he has taught countless scouts the skills that are needed as well as the wilderness survival and search and rescue merit badges. Ethan's service dose not just stop there. He has also spent the past 3 years as high school's head tech crew leader. As part of the teach crew he is responsible for planning and setting up the lights for each show. Along with that he is responsible for teaching the other members of the teach crew how to successfully do
My name is Victoria Borges and I just recieved a letter that I was not selected to be an RA or a RARE. Despite this decision I would still like the emphasize that I am still interested in the position and I am willing to work for Residental Life as a RARE or an RA. If a position becomes available I am still willing to accept any position for the upcoming academic school year. Thank you for this oppurtunity and I hope to hear back from Res Life.
Please let this letter serve as recommendation for an extremely gifted young lady. It has been my extreme pleasure to have known Kim Renoj now for the better part of 2 years. Kim has been in my athletic training program for the past 2 years. She has been an extremely hard working and valuable asset to my team. To be an athletic trainer requires a lot of long hours, dedication, all while having a great attitude in sometimes extreme weather situations. For example arriving at the football field house at 5:30 am an hour before everyone else does and starting to tend to our athletes as they arrive. Also having to set up the field and cover football practices in 100+ degree Fahrenheit weather while the rest of her classmates still have 3 weeks left of summer is not easy. Also covering a playoff game and being alert in 30 degree weather takes some mental toughness. All these things require an extremely positive attitude and thick skin. As athletic trainers, we are definitely behind the scenes, and we do not always get recognized. To continue to do your job at a high level day in and day out while getting
I hope this reaches you well. It's nice working with you during Commencment and having conversations around campus this summer. Over this summer I served as a Residential Tutor Counselor for Math/Science and Crim Upward Bound. I was hoping I could continue to serve as an RA this up coming school year so that I can have a place to live this school year.Once you have an opportunity, can you please contact me by email or phone at
1. There are many attributes that I have that are much more indicative of my potential than my SAT scores. To begin, I am a dedicated student-athlete who also takes AP classes in all of my core courses. In field hockey, I was a four-year starter, First Team All-Conference for three years, Second Team All-State, and in my senior year I was voted captain by my teammates; to add, I am doing all of this while taking AP classes. This shows that even though my scores for a single standardized test were not as high as I would have liked.
Thanks again for accepting to write a recommendation on my behalf. In order to make your life easier, I will talk a little more about my personality, strengths, and how capable I am of overcoming obstacles and/or weaknesses.
I am writing this letter of recommendation for the Graduate Student Teaching Assistant Award to recognize my CHM 256 T.A. Haitham Kalil. I've only known him for about 4 weeks, and he has already shown the utmost respect and concern for his students since the first day of class. He is very aware of his responsibilities as an instructor and is understanding towards certain situations as well as give his full attention to his students to help succeed in the class. As a second year student my experience with college professors and instructors are limited but during my attendance at Cleveland State University I can distinguish the instructors that want the best for their students. As the engaged learning experience in Cleveland state represents
It is with sincere interest that I am writing to apply for the summer internship position as Human Resources with TCHC as advertised through an email from receiving the TCHC Diversity Scholarship. I know my studies in Biomedical Science has no direct relevance to this job position; however, I been a resident of a TCHC in the Regent Park Community for the past 18 years. I believe I can make a positive impact in my community, as shown through my many volunteer experiences that would help me excel in this position.
