A wolf in our world is a carnivorous mammal, but in Red Riding Hood´s world a wolf is a clever trickster who talks their way into homes and deceives little girls. The wolf in this story approaches little red in the intention of feeding himself, however in this story he had already eaten his fill and wanted more. He is seen as an outsider, who instead of working is living off tricking people that come his way into giving him what he wants. His betrayal of red riding hood mirrors an upper class idea of a beggar, they show him as greedy and double crossing. Not to mention once he takes everything from from his victims he just lays down and sleep in their bed. Everyone in the story is aware of wolves and that they act this way and it´s just a well
