On September 11th of 2001 our way of life, our freedom, and our patriotism was pushed to it’s maximum limits and changed forever. Two pilots, both of the Islamic race crashed two planes, carrying passengers right into the twin towers that laid ground in one of the most populated cities in the world. Now, just 16 years later and still mourning that tragic day that affected our country in more ways then known. We were all Americans and we all felt the same lose, and the love each person has for the country began to bleed through and come together almost instantly. It changed everyone, something of ours had been unexpectedly diminished and it was time to show support and strength to everyone who was lost and weak. Not one citizen was a bystander, not one person was not struggling, and not one person proved disloyal to the country they so heavily loved. People came together, volunteered to families in need of help, started charity events and fundraisers, help came in from every direction. The time and effort put in was more than this country has ever seen before and helped in more ways than ever. And to this day it is still evident, there is still support groups and charity funds for families who have yet to recover from the terrible attacks. More students consider military and jobs in public safety overall, and so as negative as 9/11 was to us as a country, how we came back, some may say better than ever, shows a very positive light on Americans as a
