As Daisy Buchanan said, from the book itself, says “That's the best thing a girl can be in this world -- a beautiful little fool”. Daisy and Jay Gatsby have history from before she married Tom. Gatsby was and is foolishly in love with her and would throw magnificent parties every Saturday to impress her. Nick Carraway was Daisy’s cousin and Gatsby’s friend. Gatsby would throw extravagant parties to impress the girl he was deeply in love with, Daisy Buchanan. He knew her in 1917 and he did not long for Daisy to discover that he was still in love with her. They discussed what Gatsby said to Jordan and what they were planning to do. Nick contemplated inviting Daisy for tea and not tell her that Gatsby would be there. When I was in the fourth grade, my mom left my brother and I to move to Texas with her new husband, whom we did not meet. We did not hear from her, or have any contact with her for nearly three years. I was in seventh grade when I recognized her in Rapid City, she did not tell anyone from our side of the family that she was planning to be in town or in the area. As soon as I saw her, I wanted to run up to her and hug her, but it was moreover an awkward silence between us. I could tell it was planned that we would meet there, but I could not move by cause of that I was in shock that she wanted to meet with us after two years. Tom was having an affair with a woman named Myrtle Wilson. Myrtle was living in New York while Tom was living in Connecticut. Myrtle was mentioning Daisy’s name and hollering it, so Tom punched her nose, and broke it. When I was in fifth grade, I was fighting my cousin, and he punched my arm in the wrong spot, and broke my arm. I assumed he did it on accident, but once my arm healed up and I was done with physical therapy, he told me he did it on purpose.
