Joining my school’s Associated Student Body (ASB) has allowed me to improve the environment and atmosphere at school while also giving myself a greater voice. As the recent class secretary and future class president, I am committed to enhancing the experiences of my peers in high school. In a school that is vastly underfunded and with many students living in poverty, it becomes hard for students to become spirited and support our fundraisers because of the mediocre quality of our school as well as simply being unable to afford things. My class and I are dedicated to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to make the most of their high school experience, regardless of their background. My ambition in seeking acceptance to your program is to do my part to improve the quality of the health care system through increasing my own abilities in health care management. While there are many medically qualified individuals working in medical management, there is unfortunately often a serious deficit in quality management experience. In order to achieve my ambition, I plan to utilize my strong medical qualifications and improve upon my strong management experience.

Since childhood, I have wanted to have a career in law enforcement and the criminal justice system. More recently, it was during high school I determined I would most enjoy becoming a lawyer. As part of my career, I would experience challenging, thought-provoking cases and learn from victories and defeats alike. Most importantly, I would be able to bring the hope of the gospel not only to my clients, but also to my colleagues. Many lawyers struggle with depression, which is not surprising, given they must bear the brutalities of base human behavior they face every day.

My name is Flavia Maria Tello Granados, I am applying for the Specialization in teaching and learning English as a Foreign Language. I have been an English teacher the past six years. I entered the teaching profession nearly by accident; I never thought that what I originally saw as another mean of living in the end would result as such a rewarding experience and an integral part of who I am as a person today. In 2003, I began a certification as a Bilingual Teacher in the state of Texas, USA. Unfortunately, I could not conclude my certification due to citizenship issues. However, from 2006 to 2011, I became a volunteer teacher in a variety of elementary schools in Brownsville, Texas. This experience allowed me to gain a lot of experience in the teaching field. Most importantly, it allowed me to expand my vocabulary, grammar, and speaking skills in the English language.

Hence, for those who want to apply to the School of Art and Design, they should understand how to present their stories, experiences, practice, goals, philosophy, inspirations, and aspirations in a creative way.
Walking into my kitchen, one December evening of 2014, I saw the printed itinerary for our upcoming trip. There, at the very top, in my mom’s cursive, was written “Hollywood.” Possessing a deep appreciation for travel and cities, I was thrilled to add another place to my repertoire. With adrenaline pumping through my veins, I rushed into my closet, dug up my scruffy suitcase and lugged it back to my mom. Haphazardly, I began compiling my favorite outfits, my room suddenly resembling a disaster zone. It was then, tangled up in feelings of exhilaration and chaos, that I knew I was in for an unforgettable experience, one that would stay embedded in my memory for years to come.
With this degree, I will be able to secure a job in almost any institution that
