At the Día De Los Muertos event there were many people especially Hispanic families. Across the event, there was a museum that had arts of people dressed at Aztecs, Día De Los Muertos skeletons, a big altar, and painted skulls. The museum was not big, but showed some historical moments of the Día De Los Muertos. They also showed the culture being alive. Inside the event there were also quite a lot of volunteers that seemed to be from the high school that was hosting the event. Furthermore, we managed to see ABC7 news at the event which surprised us. The Los Banos Unified School District enrolls about 11000 students in Kindergarten through the 12th grade. The School District supports nine elementary schools, two junior highs, two high schools and one alternative high school. The School District is led by seven members of the Board or education. The School district employs five hundred and seventy-five certificated employees and four hundred and twenty-five classified employees. The schools are all currently full, with many residential divisions currently being built in Los Banos. When getting the specifics of something, the committee will most likely assign a subcommittee to look at something very specific (5). All the subcommittee is, is a small group of people from the original committee that get very specific information (5). While the committee and subcommittee is getting an experts analysis on the proposed bill, they are also checking so make sure that the bill has a high priority in society (5). To do this the committee hands the bill off to the Government Accountability Office (GAO) (5). The people in the GAO check and make sure that the bill is worth the time of the committee by judging how much of an impact that it will have on the government or the lives of everyone in the United States of America (5). Once the GAO has reached their decision, the committee then decides whether they will hold a meeting or not hold a meeting (5).

In the Merriam Webster Dictionary, the definition of hubris is “[e]xaggerated pride or self-confidence.” Hubris is also known as ego, and when someone has an overly large ego, it could lead them to their demise. In William Shakespeare’s play Macbeth, this is what the tragic hero’s downfall results in. In the play Macbeth, Shakespeare shares the story of a warrior named Macbeth and the path he takes to become king and how his hubris, or ego, ultimately leads him to his own demise. Shakespeare also introduces the audience to Banquo, Lady Macbeth, Malcolm, and Macduff as other important characters throughout the play. Another problem with an overly large hubris is that if placed in the wrong hands, it can be a dangerous weapon of mass destruction as shown by Macbeth. There are many different factors that do influence Macbeth to his demise. Theses influences include the witches as well as his own wife, Lady Macbeth. Although these people did influence Macbeth to lead him to his own demise, it is Macbeth’s fault for letting his hubris get in his way of success which ultimately leads him to his own demise.

There is, however, a very important step in the legislative process that sometimes goes unnoticed. The committee system of the legislation process ensures that the appropriate attention is given to each bill introduced to Congress. Each member of both chambers are assigned to committees and subcommittees, and are expected to become subject matter experts in their respective roles as committee members.
