Charlie Brown is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner for his friends. Snoopy and the little bird helped him out by setting up the table and by making the food. However, Peppermint Patty doesn’t enjoy the food and is displeased with how the dinner is set up. Meanwhile, another one of his guests explains to Patty that she has to be grateful for what she has and shouldn’t complain. Peppermint Patty soon feels bad for what she had said and has the other girl apologize for her since she can not do it herself. Nevertheless, Charlie Brown soon accepts it and is able to invite them over to his grandmother's house for an actual dinner. The purpose of this show is to explain others that they have to be grateful for what they have. A part of the show that
I believe the short film was made for a fun informative. The videographer took advantage of an unusual topic and made the story interesting. The main point of the story was to show an average neighborhood’s day interrupted by random turkeys, leaving the neighborhood in astonishment. The videographer demonstrates the story from the resident’s point of view but mostly the woman’s point of view. I think that was the case because of how the woman was so delighted about the entire situation. The story engages the audience by bringing curiosity of how the turkeys got there in the first place and what are the turkeys going to do afterwards. Correspondingly, the videographer captures a long shot of the turkeys walking out of the shot towards the pole.
“Mom, what’s for dinner?” is a phrase heard throughout most American households at meal time. It is easy to say that more females cook at home than males. A lot of women enjoy to cook at home and get creative in the kitchen whereas many men can’t figure out how to cook scrambled eggs. Why is it that most home meals are prepared by a woman, yet the executive chefs in the majority of U.S. restaurants are white males? What is a chef? In the French language, the word chef means “head” or “chief” and is a masculine term that actually is specific to men only. The closest feminine equivalent is cuisiniere, which refers to a woman who prepares and cooks food. Whereas she may hold many of the same responsibilities as a chef, a cuisiniere does
I do a lot of things during summer. Almost everyday I go to the pool and hangout with friends. My friends and I go to the diving boards most of the time and play chicken. We also like to play king of the log. Which is a log the lifeguards put out then kids can play on it. We also like to play pole tag. Which is a pole in the kiddie area and you have to get to the pole without being tagged. We like to race each other down the slides. Then we switch slides because one slide is faster than the other. I have a phenomenal time at the pool and get an awesome tan.

“Um, how do you do charlie” I said shyly. “ Fine kid say why don’t you get me a soda” Charlie said very rudely. “ Alright what kind” I said smiling. “Oh wait let me guess Grape right” I exclaimed. “ Lucky guess smartie , that’s my favorite kind” Charlie said astonished. “Ya I guess so” I said kindly. Suddenly Kibbles runs up and started to bark at Charlie. Charlie looked down at Kibbles, and he seemed very disgusted. Charlie kicked Kibbles and yelled “ Get out of here you dumb dog!” Kibbles flew across the room and hit the faded old yellow coach. “ Charlie that wasn’t very nice” I blurted. Charlie looked surprised for a moment then said “ I don’t have to be nice so where is my soda.” “ Over there” I said angrily as Charlie floated past me
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Little Red Riding Hood who lived with her mother in the deep woods. One day, her mother sent her to grandmother house with a cake, as her grandmother isn’t feeling well. Her mother told Little Red Riding Hood to be very careful in the woods, she mustn’t talk to strangers. Little Red Riding Hood puts on her red cloak, puts the cake in her basket, and promised to go straight to grandmother's house.
Upon being dismissed after returning to our compound at the end of each long training day, everyone instantly dashed to his sleeping quarter, grasped a towel and rushed to the shower rooms. Those who were slow to the shower rooms might not have showers that day since the water in the shower rooms was only available for a fixed and short period of time each day. Immediately after shower time, we would have to get in line for dinner; those showing up late at the mess hall might not have meals that evening. It was exactly the sentiment of a saying often heard at the Academy (author unknown), “Meals at Table House, sometime full sometime empty; Water in the W.C., sometime flows sometime
“It’s a Yuletide Christmas Miracle, Charlie Brown” begins with the protagonist of the short story named Marigold Moon Ling venturing into the “Drummond Family Trees”, a family operated Christmas tree farm. Unlike the other customers vigorously searching for the perfect Christmas tree, Marigold was simply there in search of a boy unlike any other she had ever seen, let alone heard. This boy possessed something that other boys simply didn’t acquire: a deep, almost sardonic voice, which was perfect for her latest project. Marigold had an interest in creating animated short films ever since she was a young girl, however as she grew older she realized her passion may be the ticket to get out of the grey-haired town of Asheville. She had just created

Somehow a book can motivate a student. This book is the biography of Charlie Schulz or aka Sparky. He started out as a young cartoonist, as you can only imagine, since he is world famous for his comic strip “Charlie Brown.” Charlie did not continue his education instead choose to pursue his career as a professional cartoonist. He then was drafted into World War II, and made it home all in one piece. This guy never gave up on his dream to be an artist, and continued to work hard every day. He said he makes at least six strips of comics a day, and also sets aside one whole day to do the Sunday edition. Charlie also mentions that he acquires most of his rib-tickling ideas from his childhood. His concepts of the cartoons also come from him staring blankly out the window, or towards the wall. This gentleman’s creation of “Charlie Brown” even went all the way to movies, television shows, and musicals. To say it even went as far as advertisement for almost anything.
My eyes fluttered open to the darkness, slowly adjusting itself. The bright world in my dreams evaporated as quickly as it had come. A wing brushed along my back, and a claw dug itself into my side. I flinched. But this is life. Bit by bit, others beside me awoke. They stirred, they groaned, and many pairs of eyes blinked open. Whispers arose.
The best day, Thanksgiving. My parents are laughing, my cousins are playing. Wait, I think I saw my Uncle Stephen, but...wait is that Aunt Candy too? I stirred from my sleep. I look around and remember, Aunt Candy and Uncle Stephen passed away...and my parents haven’t been together since the divorce.
