Tuesdays are without doubt spectacular. I gets to spend these special days with 13 spontaneous two year old children. They begin to arrive around 9:15. There are the few who never put up a fight or fuss, the few who are unpredictable and the many who need to be surgically removed from moms’ hip. I zip around serving as a fruit loop dispenser, a diaper changer, a nose wiper, a singer of songs and a live Barbie doll. Not to mention a wrestling match referee and a rescuer of stranded mountain climbers who despise coming down. In the midst of all the pandemonium there is structured play. The children who have a plan and a goal. The most common plan for this age seems to be “If I follow the boy with the truck long enough …show more content…
I suggest we use this tip from Hugo Grotios who said “He knows not how to rule a kingdom that cannot manage a province: nor can he wield a province that cannot order a city, nor he order a city that knows not how to regulate a village; nor can that man govern well a family that knows not how to govern himself: neither can any govern himself unless his reason be Lord, will and appetite her vassals, nor can reason rule unless herself be ruled by God and (wholly) be obedient to him." In other words learn that God is your ultimate guide in life, you cannot govern yourself or anything greater without his guidance. Couple this with Psalms 127 "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders’ labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—for he grants sleep to those he loves." Now we have a pretty solid speculation as to who we should allow to run the show. Is it THAT easy? It’s a decision we make with the breaking of every new dawn. Will I make decision based on what I want and what I believe the end result will be or will I choose to make decisions based on the plans of the ultimate builder? In order to live in the shelter of the almighty, to rest in his blessings and to receive the gifts he has prepared for us we must submit ourselves to him and raise our standards to his. Take for example the stunning events that are recorded in Daniel chapter one. Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, captives in a foreign land they knew what they represented by the one true God. They made a stand and inquired of the chief official that they might be allowed to refuse the meat place before them on a trial basis, knowing that the meat would defile them. The official allowed this and in verse 17 and 18 the Bible says “To these four
Kaden Buckley Composition II Mrs. Neuberger March 4, 2024 Unraveling the Dark Tale of Donald Henry Gaskins Since the 1980s, there are still 222,000 unsolved serial killer murders in the US (Alleah). His early years hinted at the darkness that lay ahead.
Robert Desmarais is no ordinary caretaker, living as he does in a ghost town 8200 feet above sea level. He is also an historian, story teller, geologist, chemist and licensed blaster. He speaks of the people who inhabited this place as if he’d known them all personally, which due to the eerie nature of this town, he might well have. Robert is in the process of putting together a book on the history of the town. Hopefully it will be available before long, as just the few stories he told us made me want to learn more.
Romans 12:1-21 is a defining moment and a gateway for leaders who are to become living sacrifices acceptable unto God, which is their reasonable service. “Throughout history, Christian leaders had to decide how to live under a civil state that either was less than ideal or, at times, was downright evil” (Nichols & McCarty, 2011, pg.594). Paul as a great role model of leadership explained about having a relationship with the state and its laws by describing how Christians should live in the troubled world concerning their attitudes like being responsible leaders to people whose faith is weak. He also explained that the gift of leading others refers more to caring for others than to authoritative government. Positioned as it is between giving and showing mercy, he believed the importance focused on pastoral dimension which individuals in
The type of play depicted is solely organized by the children themselves and is an important experience all children must undergo. This is because it teaches them teamwork skills that become more vital as they mature such as sharing, organization, and conflict resolution. Furthermore, it can even teach them how to be independent as play time alone can launch them into imaginary play, creating characters, settings,

A couple people may trust that leaders are considered and a couple people may feel that leaders are made. I envision that leaders lead their gathering from his or her potential outcomes and learning. Because of the Apostle Paul, God as a fruitful pioneer, a man that is known how to direct and is devoted to his or her run, picked him. As pioneers, we are vessels. On the off chance that we will be viable, our energy needs to surpass our Magnitude, be the vessel that floods with eagerness and fervor for your vision. The way to Paul 's self-way of life as a pioneer was his part as a messenger (Smith, 2014). The way to that part was the way that it was a celestial arrangement and that it included a mission instructed, and empowered by God and represented by the Spirit of God (Smith, 2014). An approach to consider 'authority ' as the way toward attracting individuals together to impact and "lead" them in a specific bearing (frequently to fulfill a specific errand). On the off chance that this is the thing that we mean by 'administration ', Paul was absolutely a pioneer (Smith, 2014).
King Nebuchadnezzar wasted little time in putting theses men to work. One particular type of work he was looking for, was advisors, potential candidates among his political prisoners. This earthly king had a kingdom to run, but one thing he forgets to realize. He is not God, but a man; God rule is everlasting and his kingdom is eternal. You see, this earthly king had a lesson to learn, and God sent the right candidate(Daniel) his way, to teach him a
Juan Gris, born on March 23, 1887 in Madrid, Spain, was a Spanish painter, illustrator, and sculptor (“Juan Gris Biography, Art, and Analysis of Works,” n.d.). Gris attended Madrid’s Escuela de Artes y Manufacturas from 1902 to 1904 where he studies mathematics, physics, and mechanical drawing (“Juan Gris Biography, Art, and Analysis of Works,” n.d.). Despite being a strong student, the rigorous academic life did not appeal to Gris (“Juan Gris Biography, Art, and Analysis of Works,” n.d.). Gris decided to use his natural ability to draw and study art, instead (“Juan Gris Biography, Art, and Analysis of Works,” n.d.). After quitting school in 1905, Gris studied painting under José Moreno Carbonero, the same painter who taught Salvador Dalí and Pablo Picasso (“Juan Gris Biography, Art, and Analysis of Works,” n.d.). In 1906, Gris sold his belongings after his father’s death and moved to Paris to become neighbors with Picasso (“Juan Gris Biography, Art and Analysis of Works,” n.d.; “Juan Gris (1887-1927),” n.d.). After moving to Paris, Gris worked as an illustrator and cartoonist for a variety of magazines and newspapers (“Juan Gris Biography, Art and Analysis of Works,” n.d.).
I only knew him as Grandpa. My sweet, adoring Grandpa. My hero. For many others, Karl Kalassay was a hero too, but for a different reason.

The people are seen corrupted and to be rejecting God on some level with their request to have a King like the other nations. I am not certain if the issue is so much about having Kings rather than judges, but the posture of their hearts and the motivations to have this new type of leadership. It appears to some degree that to be a unified nation that will soon become a distinguishable nation, a form of “government” was needed quite possibly to some degree. But it does appear evidently clear that the Lord was displeased with their motives. The posture of their hearts were not seeking the Lord’s will above all else. They not only rejected Samuel’s words of warning, but it appears their focus was on other nations and what they are

In 1928, Leon Theremin invented an early electronic musical instrument that is controlled without physical contact by the performer. The control section consist of two metal antennas. The antennas sense the position of the performer’s hands. One hand can control the oscillators for frequency. The other hand can control the volume. The electric signals from the Theremin are amplified and sent to a loud speaker. The Theremin was used in movie sound tracks, such as The Lost Weekend. Theremins are used in concert music and in popular genres, such as rock ("History of Recorded Sound",
