In this paper, I will discuss the tragedy incident of Bruce Kevin Lee. First, I will state his background and his journey to the Sheriff’s Department. Next, I will present his expertise in collision diagram/accident reconstruction. Then, I will analyze his final call that lead to his end of watch. Lastly, I will diagnose the call, and point out what went right, and what went wrong. My purpose on this paper is to remember Bruce Kevin Lee and to honor not just him but all the officers who are willing to go out on the streets to protect our community.
SUMMER SHADE - Shirley Lee Parke, age 60, died Monday, October 9, 2017, at her residence. Born June 20, 1957 in Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Otha Donald Parke and Evie Pearl Hayes Parke, who survives. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 30 plus years and was a member of the Missionary Mound Baptist Church, since the age of 15. After her retirement she was a caregiver for two of her great nieces, Briale and Callee Lane.
Joseph E. Lee was born in Philadelphia in 1849, he graduated from Howard University in 1873. He moved to Florida that same year and became the first African American lawyer in Jacksonville and in the state of Florida. He served in the House of Representatives from 1875 to 1879 and in the state Senate from 1881 to 1882. He was one of the most influential African American men in Florida through the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. He was elected municipal judge of Jacksonville and was one of the first African Americans to have this honor. He educated free slaves at a college by the name of Edward Waters College. Lee worked as a public servant acting at various times as a state legislator, a lawyer, federal customs collector and educator.

During this time period, Americans turned to sports as a form of entertainment and started to view athletes as stars. Among these athletes was a man named Lou Gehrig who played for the New York Yankees. In addition, he best represented the ideology of the “Roaring Twenties” for he was a gambler, drinker, and partier (Evans 2016).

Johnny Lou was born to Franklin Lou, and Patricia Leo. At the age of two, his father left for a secret meeting with the Detroit Police Department in which he was murdered in a drive by shooting. After losing the love of her life, Patricia started to grow more and more depressed as she eventually started to take drugs such as methamphetamine and heroin. Eventually, Johnny, now six, was taken to his grandmother's house on an island called Giru (An island acquired by the United States in the year 1935) , as his mother was seen as unfit and unruly to be a mother after prostituting to pay for more drugs and baby food. But things were no better at his grandmother's house, in fact, things were much, much worse.

Mitchell Harrison Lee was born on October the 3rd 1968 to Mitchell Harrison Lee Jr & Stephanie Faye Boutte at San Francisco General Hospital in California. He was raised a Catholic and attended catechism at Mother of Perpetual Hope Catholic Church in California. He also made his first communion. After coming to Houston he attended East Bethel Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.

Born to Revolutionary War hero Henry "Light-Horse Harry" Lee in Stratford Hall, Virginia, Robert Edward Lee seemed destined for military greatness. He served as a military officer in the U.S. Army, a West Point commandant, and the legendary general of the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. Lee's ambition is all peaceful ways of resolving the differences between North and South. He was also stand in the middle of two sides, pro-slavery and anti-slavery. His heart toward hometown finally led him resigned the Army of Union and took up command of the Virginia state forces on April 23, 1863. Lee and his Union army achieved great success during the early War at Second Bull Run and Fredericksburg, especially his greatest victory in Chancellorsville. Lee's first field assignment was commanding Confederate forces in western Virginia, where he was defeated at the Battle of Cheat Mountain and was widely blamed for Confederate setbacks.

He died in Lexington Virginia on October 12, 1870, but his legacy will be remembered forever. Lee attended the US Military Academy at West Point, where he had an outstanding performance of skills. He was offered the command of the Union army but being from Virginia he felt he should only command the Confederacy to support his home state. He commanded the Army of Northern Virginia during the Civil War, which was the most successful army in the Confederacy. After the raid of Harpers Ferry, Lee led the Marine group who captured John Brown. Although the Confederacy had a smaller amount of men Lee had great battle strategies and skills.

General Robert E. Lee was born in Virginia on January 19,1807. In our history he is one of the most significant generals America has had. Robert viewed himself as a Virginian first over everything else, and an American second. In his eyes Virginia represented love, honor, family, and the gentleman ideal. Although, he disagreed with succession and knew slavery was immoral he initially decided not to fight in the war. He was completely loyal to his home state and it was not until Virginia was invaded that Lee chose to fight in the Civil War. Robert E. Lee was a man of principal and he fought for what he believed in. He would always be loyal to Virginia.
