Career and College Research Paper A Registered Nurse is a career I’ve always been interested in. As a RN you have many tasks like doing paperwork and treating a sick or injured patient. Choosing this career is going to guide me to a better future, and helping people is something I’ve always loved to do. It is important to understand the education or training requirements, skills or talents needed, salary and benefits offered, and the duties for a particular career when making this decision. I’m planning on becoming a Rose State Raider. Rose is a two year community college, located in Midwest City Oklahoma. “Rose State is the place to go to take the next step in your life”(“Rose State College Your Future Innovation Your Degree a Great Career Starts Here.”).
While attending college I plan on getting a degree to become a Registered Nurse. In order to do this it’s best to take the basics and other challenging nurse required classes. An estimated graduation time is two years. “The nursing program is 69-70 credit hours in length including 34-35 credit hours of general education and support coursework and 35 credit hours of nursing coursework”(“Nursing Science.”). A minimum GPA is a 2.0 or higher is required. In high school you need to take the required classes to graduate for the program and to get into any college. It also looks great to be in many clubs or organizations during your high school career.
