He also received a legal degree from the University of Orlèans. He converted to Lutheranism at the age of 20 describing the experience as “unexpected”. John Calvin was one of the most important figures in the second generation of the Protestant Reformation.

Thomas Becket attended the canons regular a Merton Priority in Sussex, and then attended the University of Paris. When Becket returned home from college his parents had passed away. Thomas Becket was then urged to make his way through life with no aid from anyone and a better future. Anyone that knows Thomas Becket knows him as a strongly built and very spirited young man. Although a lot of people thought that Tom Robinson was guilty of raping Mayella, there was substantial evidence that shows that he clearly was not guilty of the crime he was accused of. Tom Robinson was accused wrongly of a crime he didn't commit solely because he was a black man. Tom being black in the 1930’s meant that no matter what he said or what evidence proved, he still would be accused of the crime he didn't commit because of his race.
Justin Timberlake is one of the best performers there are. Whenever he is on stage Justin has a light in his eyes and brings a smile to everyone’s faces. Singing has always been a lifelong passion of his and it shows through what he does. Justin had his big break in music entertainment in 1995 when the boy band *NSYNC debuted. The group quickly rose to the top and Justin Timberlake was starting to stand out. In 2002, Justin released his solo album Justified and it became a Grammy-winning album. The fact that he was able to make a name outside of his boy band shows just how talented he is. Timberlake has multiple Grammy’s and that is a testament to what he can do on stage and in the studio. Thomas Jefferson was born on April 13, 1743 in Virginia on Shadwell plantation. Thomas started attending boarding school for his studies at age 9 until he was 16. During this time period, he had excelled in his classical language classes. He was lucky enough to earn a good education and great fortune. After this, he later enrolled into College of William and Mary, in which he took regular classes and studied law. He believed the study of law was not just a job to pursue but believed it was a key to viewing aspects of life, history and culture. Along this time, Jefferson worked as a young country lawyer who attended various meetings in court. He then married Martha Wayles Skelton, who was a widow and daughter of a lawyer and landowner.
On a similar note, but from another perspective is Malcolm Gladwell. He emphasizes the generalizations people get from their communities about the unknown, may bring them into a dangerous situation. One example he used is the bans on pit bulls. Due to the known fact that pit bulls are dangerous, consequently they were ban in several locations by the legislation. “How do people know when they’ve made the right generation?” (Gladwell 2) Gladwell pushes the fact that generalizations are a choice of categorizing an individual to a certain factor. He dubbed this as a “profiling ‘category problem.’(Gladwell 3)” This would include pit bulls for the reason that they are not a single breed. Thomas Jefferson was born on April 13, 1743, in Shadwell, Virginia. His mom came out of royalty from a Scottish family and his Dad was a successful farmer. He was the third born out of ten siblings. As a child Thomas Jefferson loved to play in the woods, Practice violin, and read. At age nine he went to a local private school and was taught Greek and Latin language. At age 14 he went back to school and study classical languages and he also studied Literature, and math. He went to college of William and Mary. There were a lot of distractions at the college kids didn’t study like Jefferson suspected they played cars and bet money on horse races but that didn’t let Jefferson get in his way.
We are gathered here today to determine the fate of fellow Salem citizen Thomas Putman. As you may know, Thomas Putnam does everything he possibly can to ensure the safety of not only his community, but also his family. He is a beloved husband, and father to his family. To get justice, Putnam goes after the people of Salem declaring them witches.
Thomas attempted many things but failed at almost all of them. One would think that he would have given up after failing at so many things, but he kept going. Thomas failed out of school at 12 years old.He failed at apprenticing for his father and many things after that. He met Benjamin Franklin in London, who helped him emigrate to Philadelphia in 1774. It was there where his career turned to journalism. That's when he became important.
The meaning of the Jesuit tenet "Magis" is essential in the quest for self-actualization. It is the duty of all to become the best version of themselves that they can possibly be, no matter what the area of growth is in. Personally, I want a college experience that challenges the person that I am now, and helps me to grow by the way of academics and knowledge, learning to be a contributing member of society as an adult, and becoming more cultured. I believe with a life at Fordham University, I can take steps towards achieving this and so much more.

As a child he liked to explore in the woods, play the violin, and read. In 1757 he started attending a private school run by Reverend William Douglas and Reverend James Maury in which he studied Latin, Greek, mathematics, and literature. After studying there for three years he went to The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. He studied there for three years, and then studied law under Wythe for five years. In 1767 he won admission to Virginia Bar. From 1767 through 1764 he practiced law. He took up many cases and won a large majority of them. During that time he also met and married Martha Wayles Skelton, and they had six children together, only two of which lived until adulthood.
His father was president of a brick making company. His mother wrote poetry and was once a teacher and social volunteer. They were determined to educate Thomas well.
