Purpose The main purpose of this paper is to research requirements for a Cloud Computing Security Policy and to develop a draft policy for the non-profit organization, SNPO-MC which will provide guidance to managers, executives, and cloud computing service providers. Scope SNPO-MC is currently using Enterprise security policy which focuses exclusively upon enterprise security requirements for organization owned equipment (including database servers, Web and email servers, file servers, remote access servers, desktop computers, workstations, and laptop computers) and licensed software applications. The enterprise IT security policy also addresses incident response and disaster recovery. The scope of this new purposed cloud computing security policy is to replace the Enterprise security IT policy by implementing necessary standard requirements required by the security agencies to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of individuals, assets and information systems of SNPO-MC. Policy Statement The protection of confidentiality, integrity and availability of individuals, information, assets and communication systems are top priorities of this organization, SNPO-MC. This organization recognize the necessity of cloud computing security policy over the enterprise IT security policy to better perform in an effective and efficient manner.
