Research Methods
I have described each of my four tasks in depth below.
Task 1: Parking Lot Observations
I observed the parking lot for a minimum of two Sundays, before and after each church service. I looked for how well traffic flowed, what areas of the parking lot filled up fastest, and if there seemed to be any confusion as to where to go from the parking lot. This has helped me gain a better understanding of our parking lot.
Task 2: Online Research
Through the online research, I discovered how other churches have dealt with situations similar to ours. Learning what has worked for other churches has helped me to know whether or not their solution will be acceptable for our church. I found out where other churches visitor parking areas
There needs to be additional parking on campus made for visitors and also for students. There also needs to be additional parking meters added for students living off campus, who often have trouble finding a spot. The college is overpopulated, resulting in loads of backed up parking lots. Faculty already has reserved parking; however the limited amount of parking on campus is forcing students and visitors to park in reserved faculty lots. Parking is
I sat on the driver’s seat nervously and took a deep breath. It was a hot Saturday afternoon; the sun was starting to fall and my mom and I were at the Department of Public Safety practicing for my driver’s test. My mom was sitting on the passenger’s seat and reckoned, “Aggie, you will be fine” as I finished parallel parking. This was probably the hundredth time we had practiced and every single one had different outcomes.
It is a very well known church that is in Indiana that I’ve never been to before. When I first walked in everyone was so welcoming and friendly. It is a Baptist church with a lot of people in it. During the service the pastor asked if there were any visitors and he asked us to stand. All the members clapped and smiled and the people around me shook my hand and were very kind. The church was very nice before going into the sanctuary there were paintings all over and going in you could tell they were technically savvy. Because it’s a big church, they have big screens so people way in the back can see. They even have a tech station where they do mic checks and they project stuff on to the screens. It was a very nice church and service and I would like to
For an observation of an AA meeting my classmate and I made arrangements to go to an open meeting at Our Lady Star Of The Sea Church, which was held in a basement during a Tuesday afternoon session at 4:00 p.m. I first looked up the sessions online on a website where it held all the meetings on Staten Island and this one fit my schedule well. Its not unusual for me to be attending or visiting churches but for this assignment it did feel a little out of my comfort zone, because I didn’t know what to expect or what others would think of me. I chose a seat in the back corner that wouldn’t be too obvious yet it seemed like a typical seat for a newbie to sit at. The room was fairly large and I was surprised at how big the crowd got at least 30 plus people attended.
I am the Law Students’ Society representative for the law school located at the PACI building on 955 Oliver Road in Thunder Bay, where our students are experiencing parking difficulties.
I hope to provide possible ways to improve the services provided to aid the parking issues that are found on the Florida International University. The issue of parking at Florida International University is the lack of being able to find parking at most given times. There are a lot of times where I have arrived at Florida International University and have spent over 20 minutes driving in circles trying to find a parking spot. And I am not the only one. Martina Bretous writes in one of her article posts. “It always starts out the same way: a race to the elevator entrance at the sight of anyone entering the garage followed by a head popping out of a lowered car window yelling ‘Are you leaving? (Bretous)’” I would use this excerpt to
Another constraint for our building is parking. Whilst we do have a 50 space underground car park, this is never opened up to the exclusive use of our customers. When we explain that their elderly or disabled guests, or organisers (delivering flowers etc) will be permitted to use the car park, this usually overcomes any obstacles.
As of 2013 there are about 2,500 parking spots currently available at the UCMerced parking lot; with the continued growth of students in the school, we need to be able to make sure supply meets demand with the parking spaces. UCMerced's student population is rapidly growing from 13.5 % from Fall of 2015 to 2016 (UCMerced). Due to the high demand the school needs to be able meet the necessary requirements for all these students; one of the biggest problems the school faces is that they aren’t able to meet the student’s transportation needs (The Merced Sun-Star). The lack of spaces causes students and staff to waste time looking for parking causing them to waste time. I plan on making a design on a mobile app to be able to solve this problem.
The chapel contains a modest sanctuary, two small offices and a small social hall with a kitchen in the basement. The chapel is not handicap accessible as it has one small flight of stairs to enter into the church, another few steps going up to the sanctuary, one flight of stairs going down to the social hall, and no elevator. They have a very small parking area behind the church of less than ten spaces in addition to on-street parking. To remedy this need, the council has consulted with contractors to provide ideas for possible infrastructures to their chapel. However, their suggestions where either impossible to construct with the chapels current layout and small lot size or far too costly given their current finances and small tithing
building codes representative agreed were a possibility where as follows: an expansion of the parking lot in order to account for more parking spaces.
Mission Control would like to ask about a vehicle that was flagged violating our "Overnight Parking" here in the Sunnyvale Campus. This vehicle is currently parked inside the parking structure on the 1st floor.
On Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at approximately 5:22PM, I, Officer Larry Thomas was dispatched to Parking 3, Level 3A parking deck, here at UAMS, in reference to patient that fell down.
The way to get to my house from the high school parking lot is not hard. Take a right at the stop sign that you have to stop at before leaving the parking lot. Go south on North High Street. Once you get to the intersection by the nursing home, take a left. Continue on Washington Street and go past all the businesses until you are out of town. Now you are out Highway 9. On the highway you will travel eight miles. On this highway, you will go around several curves and drive over two bridges. Once you see the Buffalo Ranch you are near Clifton, but continue for two miles. Soon you’ll see a water tower along with a cell tower, and shortly after that you'll be in Clifton. Drive straight for about a half of a mile. Once you see the Presbyterian
I desire to pursue a position as a parking enforcement officer. My industrious skill set mind and knowledge of efficiency when making decisions will make me a great candidate. Also, I have excellent people skills and perform best when there are strict regulations and rules to follow. My background in the Navy as a fire fighter has prepared me for such a demanding and moral
There are currently only a handful of reserved spaces on campus, and the ground has yet to be broken for the construction of the parking deck. In fact, Winthrop University does not even have all the funds needed to build this parking deck. When I approached Jack Allen, of Campus Police, with my idea of reserved parking spaces, he told me that he thought it was a good idea. Walter Hardin, when given the same idea, seemed to think that the reserved parking system would not realistically work out but was open to the proposal.
