Melba Pattillo Beals from the book Warriors Don’t Cry and the fiction Animal Farm has the best way to respond to conflict. Some of them are, keeping strong and try not to show others they bother you, talk about it and be assertive, and stick up for yourself and find a solution. Have you ever wondered why there is still fighting in this world? The book has realistic conflicts, but the animals can speak to each other and the humans. One Day a horse called, Boxer spoke up about their conflict that was happening and snapped, “Let’s face it: our lives are miserable, laborious, and short.” (Source #1) The other animals agreed and understood what he meant, since Boxer spoke up, they all decided to do something about their conflict. The saying that Boxer spoke contemplates that the animals are not being treated fairly and their goal was to have equality and wanted to make it happen. “Man serves the interest of no creature except himself.”(Source #1) The animals explain why man can be so cruel, but they stick up for themselves and work even harder. They try to earn their farm back, they trusted the leaders and won their own war, but later on, the pigs went against the farm and they wanted to be allies with the humans again. Before, the members of Animal Farm were explaining how cruel man can be to animals and want to stop the animal abuse that has been happening to their farm. The leader labeled as, Napoleon blurted, “There, Comrades, is the answer to all our problems. It is summed up in a single word… man.” (Source #1) The animals
