This examination paper consists of two parts - Part A and Part B Part A consists of 20 multiple choice questions each worth one (1) mark. Answer all the questions in Part A on the answer sheet provided, using pencil only: (a) Print your student number, name and initials in the space provided and mark the appropriate boxes below your student number, name and initials. Evaluation will be based on End-of-Topic quizzes, a midterm exam, four assignments, and a final exam as listed under “Grading Scheme” below. There is a quiz at the end of each topic/chapter. The midterm quiz covers chapters 1 to 9 inclusive and the final quiz covers the entire course. All the quizzes are True/False and multiple choice types available in Blackboard. All the quizzes are open-book but because of the limited time available to take a quiz, you must have good knowledge of the content before taking the test. You are responsible for checking Blackboard for the opening and closing dates and times of the quizzes. No extensions will be allowed.
Failure to meet the body fat composition standards and/or physical fitness standards on the initial and re-test will result in your removal from the course and will be annotated in block 11d “Failed to Achieve Course Standards” in the DA Form 1059 IAW AR350-1.
Subjects: I was lucky to experience HSC in year 10 as I could sit for ‘Software Design and Development’ and received 2nd rank in the state. It earned me ‘UNSW computing award’ for 2014. I have achieved the school’s ‘Academic excellence in PDHPE’ in year 8 (2012) & year 9 (2013) and ‘Academic excellence in preliminary PDHPE’ (2014) and ‘Head Teacher’s Award for PDHPE’ (2015). I sat for my HSC PDHPE in year 11 (2015) and received 11th rank in the state. I have also received ‘Academic excellence in preliminary Agriculture’ (Tepper Medal) (2014). During the first term, I received an estimated ATAR of ≥99.35.
