Revision is to re-read, re-think, and re-seeing. As Nancy Sommers stated,“revision is simply the further growth of what is already there.”() As simply as what she state, it would be an agreement from me. Revision is an effective way for students; to have the opportunity to look back at their own work and make correction and improvement. Throughout the revision of both essays, my writing mainly focusing having improvement on avoiding repetition, correcting small errors, and adding analysis. First, corrections that is made for my revision is to avoid repetition. Agreeing to Anne Lamott, “not one … writes elegant first drafts.”() To make improvement for “The Memorable Hamlet,” is to re-think and re-see the sentences that was created and to revise it to the meet the rule of writing a proper essay, no “I.” For example, the second sentence on the second paragraph my sentence was “Throughout the process of writing a paper for Hamlet, I learn one different way of thinking while writing and ways of how to prepare for an essay, outlining.” To avoid the repetition, correction that was made for the sentence was, “Throughout the process of writing a paper for Hamlet, there are different ways of thinking while writing and ways of how to prepare for an essay, outlining.” The improvement is made by changing the words around, instead of “I learn one different way of thinking…,” by changing the words around and avoiding repetition, “there are different ways of thinking…” would meet the
