Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton talk about their visions for the future of America. I think Trump one because he has a plan for money growth, and Hillary just lies too much. This audience is for upcoming voters for which president they want leading their country. This article is to Inform us about the plans the presidents have for the future of the United States of America.
“If there is one message that echoes forth from this conference, let it be that human rights are women’s rights and women’s rights are human rights once and for all” (Clinton). On September 5, 1995 in Beijing China, first lady Hillary Clinton delivered a speech about women’s rights at the United Nations Fourth World Conference of Women. The goal of this conference was to inform the audience of government officials, leaders of organizations and average people on the problems women in the world face. Clinton’s speech argued how women were not treated equally and that women’s rights should be equal to human rights. Throughout her speech she got her point across by providing harsh examples of the abuse and discrimination women face like abuse,
To keep the American tradition, President Obama signed an executive order requiring the loser of the Presidential election to leave the country. Obama stated "No Matter who that loser is".
Bernie is now posting his best poll numbers of the campaign to date. He's only 4 points behind in Iowa and gaining, solidly ahead in New Hampshire, and has national momentum, too. What Sanders needed to do Sunday night was maintain that momentum, continue his appeal to liberal base voters, and blunt any attacks that Clinton might be tempted to unleash at him. He accomplished all of that, even if he didn't give a focused, dominant performance. His release of his single-payer financing details denied Clinton a major attack line, he avoided getting bogged down in guns (clearly his worst issue from the Democratic base's perspective), and he struck an tone that made him seem relatively above the fray as Clinton tried out various critiques targeting
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you sincerely for your many years of service. I truly appreciate the stands you have taken to uphold the values that have made this country and state such a wonderful place to raise a family.
In Hillary Clinton’s campaign ad, she uses ethos and pathos to tear down Trump. She uses the story of man to make a point that Trump has no interest in Muslims.
In the history of The United States of America there have been 44 presidencies. The current election is showing many promising candidates and of them two have made a rather large name for themselves, Donald Trump for the Republican Party and Hilary Clinton for the Democratic Party. When discussing these candidates, although both have their respective positives and negatives, I believe Donald Trump to be the better candidate for president.
The logical fallacy detected in the political reading is deceptiveness because George W. Bush isn't telling the whole truth of what's going on in Iraq. He seems to be making light of the situation going on in Iraq, especially considering around the 2003 era which the Saddam Hussein regime and the U.S. invasion for oil, it's very chaotic. Misleading arguments are also seen because Bush is blaming the Iraqi people entirely for tensions, despite the U.S. invasion for oil, a personal gain. Appealing to pity because Bush is asking all American people to take pity but shaming Iraqis, not allowing Americans to take responsibility. For the Nader passage, delusion because of everything that's happening with technology, we have everything at our fingertips
Clinton uses imagery again to help her audience imagine some of the hardships women around the world face. She describes some of the specific problems and difficulties women face when she says "At this very moment, as we sit here, women around the world are giving birth, raising children, cooking meals, washing clothes, cleaning houses, planting crops, working on assembly lines, running companies, and running countries..." Clinton uses this sentence to create an image of the variation of the duties that women perform around the world. Some women are successful enough to be able to run companies and countries, while others are stuck with only being able to perform basic duties, like washing clothes, cooking meals, giving birth, raising children, etc. Next she explains how women don't have equality by explaining some of the rights they are being denied, she states "They are being denied the right to go to school by their own fathers and brothers. They are being forced into prostitution and they are being barred from the bank lending offices and banned from the ballot boxes." She explains in detail some of the difficulties
Good evening and Happy Eid everyone. Hope all is well with each and every one of us. I would like to clear myself once for all. I do not wish to get involved in America's Elections once again. And I don't think he wants otherwise. He helped me do everything possible earning the responsibility of being America's Vice President. I guess our best for wasn't good enough for Hillary and the rest of the Clinton's loving family. Bruce and I were extremely surprised, when the Clinton's called me for an interview. Hillary, Chelsea, Huma, and I have been knowing each other since the time began at the States of Illinois, Arkansas, and Michigan all the way to America's House. Read my lips, since I am being the better half of Angela and Her Excellency of
Thousands of Democrats flocked to Philadelphia in July of 2016 to witness Hillary Clinton accept her party’s nomination and officially become the Democratic Party’s candidate for the President of the United States. To those in attendance and those watching from their homes, the highlight of the weekend is arguably Michelle Obama’s remarks advocating Hillary Clinton’s pursuit of the presidency. The current First Lady’s careful and pointed diction convey her feelings of praise and approval towards the party’s nominee, and the ease through which she appeals to pathos couples with her powerful call to action to strengthen the message she is communicating, rallying people together in support of Hillary Clinton.
The presidential race for the 2016 election are in full effect. The candidates are campaigning hard and debating on various issues all for one thing the chance to become the next president of the United States. The reason people vote is to make a change. In order to win, they must convince voters that they are the best for the job, a part of a politician's job is to address issues. How do the candidates successfully do this? By the use of rhetoric, whether it be through oration, discourse debates, television, or radio political advertisements. A rhetorical situation has three components exigence, audience, constraints. According to Bitzer in order to have a rhetorical situation you must be addressing an issue, or else there is no 'situation'.
During 1990s many women in china and women from other countries did not get equal rights as men. Women wanted to be treated with respect and dignity; also equal privileges and love for girls in compare to boys. On September 1995, Hillary Clinton gave the speech “women’s Rights are Human Rights” addressing the conference delegates at the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women. While Clinton is primarily concerned with convincing those she immediately addresses including, “Gertrude Mongella, secretary general,” secondary audiences are the government of China and the government of United States since Hillary Clinton was from United States, the American public who would have heard the speech through radio broadcast or read the speech in
The two candidates had completely different messages where they targeted different groups as well. Hillary’s spreaded a more positive and unifying message; Donald dispersed a message of big change and putting Americans first. Clinton’s slogans included: “Fighting for Us” “Love Trumps Hate” and “Stronger Together.” Her opponent, Trump, had one main slogan that I’m sure we are all very familiar with: “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” They also appealed opposite crowds of people. Hillary directed her campaign toward her base of African-American, Hispanic, college student and female voters. Clinton hammered Trump throughout the whole election year as “someone who degrades women, mocks people with disabilities, insults African-Americans and Latinos and demonizes mexican immigrants and Muslims.” Donald Trump spoke to “small-town” America to the white, working-class voters that he knew would fire up his outsider campaign.
In this commercial, the Hillary Clinton campaign is being attacked. It claims that Clinton is an unfit president for the United States by using a variety of examples. The video begins by talking about the emails she deleted from her account and then speaks about how certain terroristic attacks could have been prevented if an organization she was in did more. It says that the Senate Intelligence Committee Review blames the State Department for these attacks and brings up Hillary Clinton. The ad then says that she wants to “reset” connections with Russia, however, it shows that Russia has caused some major problems in the world. Later, the ad says that she was under fire when she landed at one place, but then it shows a video that shows her happily talking to children and people. Clinton is then shown saying that she came out of the White House broke, though it is stated that she came out with
Donald Trump’s speech addressed to the United Nations General Assembly on September 19, 2017 was not effective. Despite the speech having a universal message that is hard to disagree with, you can tell exactly which parts of the speech were written by a speech writer, and which parts of the speech were written by Trump himself. This wouldn’t be an issue if Donald Trump’s inflections weren’t full of fallacies and unnecessary statistics. For example, in the third paragraph, President Trump tries to establish his Ethos by listing improvements in the United States since he took office. But many of these cherry-picked improvements have absolutely nothing to do with him being elected. They also have nothing to do with the general theme of the speech. This speech did have examples of effective rhetorical strategies. However, the bad far outweighs the good in this speech and takes away from the good message it originally had.
