RHETORICAL ANALYSIS OF A PROFESSIONAL DOCUMENT
Introduction
In reference to the 100A assignment sheet for the rhetorical analysis, a rhetorical analysis is a written work that focuses on analyzing and understanding a published article. In this assignment, students will get opportunities to develop their writing and improve deep analytic skills to identifying rhetorical strategies that writers will use to achieve the purpose of a well-written document. The audience for this analytical paper will be my classmates, professor, and the committee members of the 100A.
To begin with, rhetorical strategies are techniques which writers use in their article to assert and persuade the audience about a specific point. These techniques can include narratives, descriptive, and cause and effect. Using these strategies, a writer is able to introduce the topic and provide examples in order to achieve their purpose, which could be a variety of different things.
In the following rhetorical analysis, I will analyze “Cloud Computing for Increased Business Value” by Abdulaziz Alijabre. Alijabre received his Doctorate degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Bridgeford and is currently a CEO of System security solution company. Alijabre has written numerous articles and “Cloud Computing for Increased Business Value” was written in January 2012. This article gives a perception of how using cloud computing can be beneficial and yet create obstacles in business. The
Your task is to do a close reading of a public document, summarize it, and then analyze its rhetorical situation. Use the sample rhetorical analysis from the textbook (pages 57-60) as a flexible guide—not as a rigid model. Your analysis will contain a few more features than the one found in the book. How you organize your analysis will depend in part on the writing you choose and in part on the decisions you make about how to arrange the parts of your analysis.
Qasim et al., (2014) the authors of the article “Cloud Computing Risks & Business Adoption” researched cloud computing and adoption. The authors discussed the lurking dangers hiding in cloud computing against businesses. The articles talks about the benefits and the risks that exist and the fact the new technology has the ability to force change on how things are done in the business environment (Qasim et al., 2014). The authors confirmed businesses should not easily rush to trust cloud computing with critical data (Qasim et al., 2014).
The future of computing is slowing turning to the cloud. Eventually, most individuals and companies will be utilizing the cloud. Businesses can use high quality cloud computing, grow as needed, without having to spend a lot of capital. Cloud computing offers the flexibility of meeting on demand computing needs along with system availability, performance and security features. Cloud computing is faster and less expensive as they would only pay for what is used.
Though the actual history of cloud computing is not that old (the first business and consumer cloud computing services websites – salesforce.com and Google, were launched in 1999), the story of cloud computing is intertwined directly with the creation of the Internet and business, the answer to the unsolved question of how internet utilization can help improve business technology was and is cloud computation. Business technology history is both extensive and interesting, almost as extensive as business itself, but the invention of computers are most responsible for the influence on business technology. Cloud computing, like all other innovation was nurtured in the right environment to take off, as multi-tenant architectures, highly
Traditionally, it can suck up far too much of your business’ time and effort. This doesn 't add value, and takes the fun out of being in business. Cloud software can save your company time and money. Think about when you use internet banking. Every time you access this data, you’re using the cloud. The cloud is a platform to make data and software accessible online anytime, anywhere, from any device. Your hard drive is no longer the central hub. You can use cloud-based software from any device with an internet connection
There is a sign that hangs outside the Information Technology Director’s office at work that reads….Cloud Computing - is just using someone else’s server. I now understand what that sign means. Most people do not know exactly what cloud computing means, honestly until now I really didn’t understand the entire concept. There is no imaginary cloud hanging in the sky that holds all our information. Cloud computing has its place in a business; there are various factors that must be evaluated when considering the use of this method data storage. A business should determine the condition of their existing computer system and software. They should examine their short and long term business goals and then weigh the advantages and
Cloud computing is basically a model based on “pay as you go” that reflects the best business approach for the organization to pay only for the services that are used. Organizations have adopted this approach rapidly due to the attributes of minimal investment, rapid deployment along with cost reduction. Thus, the organizations are free from monitoring and managing the technical issues as it is offered by the service providers. According to Modi, et al. [2], around 91% international organizations have adopted the model of cloud computing for its significant element of cost reduction.
Cloud computing can be illustrated as an issue word and examination style. It is seen as one of the quickest developing portions in the processing business that will assume control and influence numerous or most parts of registering. Simply after this build-up it is not difficult to see that cloud computing can prompt various moral issues. The clearest one is security which can emerge as an issue when clients store individual information in mists and lose control of who has which get to and utilization rights. An a great deal more troublesome inquiry is the means by which to do this moral investigation.
It has been established in the literature that the use of IT increases productivity and output of economies (Duggal et al., 2007, Hawash and Lang, 2010). Likewise, the adoption of cloud computing is expected to further impact existing and new businesses, which will
South Hills High School, AP English and Composition. In the early weeks of this class we learned the importance of what a writer is capable of doing if using the correct strategies. For example, Martin L. King repeated and emphasized the importance of “I have a dream” to make his speech more memorable and get his point through his audience. We further learned Aristotle’s rhetorical triangle and the strategies that each point was tied down with. In this paper, I will demonstrate that I have entered a discourse community of AP English by indicating the knowledge I have acquired throughout the 9 months of this course, effectively using rhetorical strategies, and convincing other members to join this discourse community.
I’m writing this letter to show criticism analysis in text so as to employ the principles of rhetoric which brings about the involvement of the author, content and the audience. The requirement for rhetorical analysis will involve the plans that the author used to achieve the goal or purpose in writing. Analysis involves the studying of something difficult in order to know its nature or the features in it. The study helps in providing some essential information for problem solving and making the right decisions. The requirement in rhetorical analysis is that one needs to do critical reading so as to break down text from the main piece for analyzing(Barker, 2017).
In this paper, I will briefly introduce what cloud computing is and some of its fundamental concepts (service models and deployment models). The later part of the paper will mainly focus on examining cloud computing impacts on business – the benefits it will bring, and the risks and challenges that go along with it.
The world, as a whole, is changing. It is true that some sections of the world are remaining primitive in terms of industrialization, but the general population is a progressive one. There are incredible advancements being made in the industries of transportation, communications, aerospace and defense, as well as almost every industry related to the culture of society. As these advancements progress and companies innovate, the demand for different products changes. For example, the demand for DVDs today is no where near what it once was. In today’s society, there is a huge demand for technology based products. Due to this increased demand for technology, there has been an impressive amount of innovation on how technology is both used and sold. The largest of these innovative movements has been the movement towards cloud computing. In about as basic of a definition there is, The Cloud is simply a way to store data online. Instead of saving something to a hard drive, it can be saved to The Cloud. As one of The Cloud’s many advantages, this allows files to be accessed from any device at any location. However, it also has some disadvantages. This is arguably the most relevant issue in the business world today, which is why the sources below will help to analyze the benefits of cloud computing versus the costs of it.
The introduction of cloud computing have change the way many organisations have been thinking as what is considered to be ‘’our system’’ and ‘’our Data’’ which is no longer stored in a specific physical computers or disks but is rather on a conceptual system and location , which have evolved and diffuse geographically. A potential deduction is that it makes it harder to have every data under one roof or under control. So, as one of the major technology development, there is a potential concern amongst organisation adopting the cloud computing services and others factors that it may offer. To understand this factors that might limited the adoption of cloud computing, we must first look at the technical, economic perspectives. The research will try to address factors which might influence organisation and especially in the third sector such as performance and the running cost of cloud computing. The evaluation will be based upon previous research and the goal is to discern factors affecting, when possible
cloud computing is making a quick revolution in information technology, and numerous specialists feel that cloud computing will be the following enormous thing. In this report, I look at the three vendors who are giving cloud administrations in present business sector and what are fundamental technologies they offered, and how they are securing their customer 's information in chapter-1. At that point I take a gander at given contextual analyses and portray the benefits that the cloud computing offered to those organizations in chapter-2. At last, I give answers for the given situations by utilizing AWS as a part of Chapter-3&4.
