In reference to the 100A assignment sheet for the rhetorical analysis, a rhetorical analysis is a written work that focuses on analyzing and understanding a published article. In this assignment, students will get opportunities to develop their writing and improve deep analytic skills to identifying rhetorical strategies that writers will use to achieve the purpose of a well-written document. The audience for this analytical paper will be my classmates, professor, and the committee members of the 100A.
To begin with, rhetorical strategies are techniques which writers use in their article to assert and persuade the audience about a specific point. These techniques can include narratives, descriptive, and cause and effect. Using these strategies, a writer is able to introduce the topic and provide examples in order to achieve their purpose, which could be a variety of different things.

Rhetorical analysis is a way of analyzing material. The goal of rhetorical analysis is to consider several aspects of writing in order to conclude if a specific message was shown in the way the author intended. These aspects include the materials content, the purpose of the material, the authors background, the structure of the material, where and when the material was published, and the topic. The process of rhetorical analysis is mostly based on three pasts: critical read, rhetorical strategies, and persuasive appeals. Critical reading, the first step of rhetorical analysis, is used to understand if the material successfully conveys the message the author intended. To do this you should take the material
A rhetorical strategy is when the author uses certain items in their writing to make the reader view and feel a certain way about the work. Examples of rhetorical strategies include but are not limited to quotes, ethos, logos, pathos, references, statistics, and illustrations. Both Laurel Thatcher Ulrich’s “Well-Behaved Women Seldom Make History” and Diana George’s “Changing the Face of Poverty” use similar rhetorical strategies to support their argument.
Rhetorical analysis refers to the study done by an author's use of words to influence their audience. It is closely related to diction which refers to an author's choice of words. The rhetorical analysis breaks a non-fiction work into sections then explains how the parts work together to create an effect. The effect could be achieved via persuasion, entertainment, or information. This paper will, therefore, divide the book into different sections and give an analysis of such parts to identify how the chapters are organized to help in achieving the intended effect. It will determine the elements of writing used to give the pathos, ethos, and logos. It will further identify the figures of speech used and their effectiveness. The paper will also
In the article there were many rhetorical strategies. The ones that I feel stood out the most are atmosphere, imagery, and exemplification.
Rhetorical strategies are techniques writers use for a particular effect. In previous classes, you might have been introduced to them as “literary devices” – others will be completely new to you. When thinking of language choices that we make when writing or speaking, think of it like this -- everyone draws from a “toolbox” of rhetorical strategies as they express ideas and evoke responses in their readers. The more “tricks” of language that you know, the more effectively you can say what you want in the most effective way.

Throughout this semester I’ve been able to grow as a writer, I’ve come to understand how rhetorical strategies come into contribution when it comes to expressing yourself as a writer. One thing that has come perfectly clear to me is that there is different forms of writing and each form can express and show different meanings.
After the completion of my initial draft for “Black Lives Matter”, I have learned that rhetorical analysis means more than just identifying the rhetorical elements. Its main intent is to critically analyze the elements the author uses to persuade the audience in order to get his/her point across. Rhetorical analysis is focused on identifying and answering who the author is writing to, the purpose, what message is the author trying to convey, and why. Then to further conclude, how do all these elements come together and impact the reader. As described above, there are many elements that go behind a rhetorical analysis. For example, an effective analysis may include and discuss

Cloud computing is offering liability for the government such as data assurances, infrastructure security, functionality, disaster recovery, and comply with the laws. Services such as, data storage and security, are provided by cloud computing over the internet. In cloud computing, users can pay for what they consume (Bisong & Rahman, An Overview of the Securtiy Concerns in Enterprise Cloud Computing, 2011). Cloud computing is an emerging information technology, which can make it easier for the users to manage their data. Cloud computing allows businesses to expand as new cloud-based models are being discussed and implemented as solutions (Bamiah & Brohi, 2011).
Davidovic, Ilijevic, Luk, and Pogarcic did a nice job of explaining and laying out the research and the results. The information was clear, concise, and the results were easy to interpret. Ultimately, these figures translate to profitability thereby fulfilling one of the primary goals of business which is to generate profit (Aljabre, 168). One of the major reasons behind the choice of using cloud computing and incorporating it into the basic framework of business transaction is efficiency. Cloud computing utilizes minimal renewable resources that cold the business a very insignificant amount compared to the returns it will retain in the form of profits and customer satisfaction. Cloud computing enables the business to streamline its IT operations thereby eliminating any wasteful channels that drain resources and increase the cost of operations. The concept of cloud computing render it as a n internet based operation that provides efficient and effective handling for the employees of a business through improved accessibility and limited space consumption (Gorelik 109). Every other merit that cloud computing affords business is down to the effectiveness or efficiency its use brings upon the business entity which will eventually reflect on the profitability of the business.
