Thank you for the existence of the Richard and Susan DiBartolomeo Student Scholarship. Getting a scholarship award was a critical objective for me to attend Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration. I am a transfer student from Macomb Community College where my grant award from FAFSA would cover my tuition and books.
During my time attending community college, I knew I had to get a degree beyond an associate degree if I wanted to be in the best position to be successful. One of my biggest concerns transferring to Walsh College was the financial aspect. Thanks to your generous donations that made it possible for me to be selected and awarded a scholarship.
This award will go a long way as I am able to take a smaller loan to
Receiving this scholarship will be really helpful and will relieve a lot of stress for me financially.
Now that I’ve covered why I financially need this scholarship, let me explain why I have earned it. This past year has been a whirlwind. I ended my junior year with 34 credit hours, 20 of which were earned second
This scholarship was a huge blessing to my family as I would have not able to come to Marist College otherwise. I’m grateful for the chance to attend to college without having to worry about my finances. I would like to thank the Duet family for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime.
It fills me with great pride to say that I have finished my first semester of college--with a 3.5 GPA nonetheless--due to your continued generosity. Your donation to this fund has drastically improved my college experience because a large weight has been lifted off my shoulders. As a student who does not receive Federal Aid, paying for college seemed like far-fetched dream. Being able to say that I have completed my first semester of college is not as far-fetched as I once thought. Thank you for making this dream a reality.
As upcoming high school seniors, many such as myself, desire scholarships in order to alleviate the financial burden that attending a university can bring. Though this considerable and generous scholarship prize money will be used to further my education at Texas A&M University, my main wish is to bring pride and satisfaction to my family. As a first generation student, I am humbled by the opportunity of obtaining an education in America. Since my parents were migrants from Vietnam and Hong Kong, a successful life here was unheard of many years before. Financial strains do occasionally plague our lives, however, we have not forgotten the strenuous hard work and sacrifice that my parents have conquered in order to put their two daughters through
I would like to express my thanks to the Buster Bynum Education Scholarship for allowing me the opportunity for financial assistance through your scholarship program. Being the second child in my family to attend college, I know that college can be expensive. At the age of seventeen, I am the youngest of six children. I learned from my family that they will give me all the love in the world, but when it comes to money I have to earn it. For the past three years I’ve earned my gas and spending money working a part-time job laying sod for Mid-South Enterprises LLC. I am confident that my parents will help as much as they possibly can financially, but with the assistance from scholarships my out of pocket tuition cost can be less.
I am honored and appreciated to have been selected to receive the Jim & Phyl Woodhouse Endowed Scholarship, in the amount of $1000.
I was surprised to see that I was qualified for the National Honors Society Scholarship, however I felt as if it was going to be hard to “brag” about myself. I thought long and hard on who I am as a person and I have to say that I have many leadership, character, and service qualities.
If selected for this scholarship, I will represent your organization in my college years as well as professional career. My top priority is not only to be a college graduate, but also to dedicate myself in service to others using my skills and talents. Finally, I would like to assure that your decision to award me Daniel’s Fund Boundless Opportunity Scholarship would be an invaluable asset in my current academic career path as well as to motivate me to continue my graduate study in the near future.
When I first started school at Hillsborough Community College, I worked two part-time jobs to pay tuition while maintaining a full time course load. As graduation approached I knew that the decision to further my education would require more time and funds. While short on money, I still decided to transfer from Hillsborough Community College to the University of South Florida to further my education in Social Work with a minor in Public Health. I personally believe that education is an investment in yourself that is certainly worthwhile. To be able to receive the Eugene and Mary Lou Powell Veteran Success Last Mile Scholarship would make a significant impact on my college experience. Receiving this scholarship would relieve a huge financial
When looking within myself and upon my projected future, I can only think of the many opportunities that led me here. Along with time and dedication put into my instilled values I grew and molded myself into a fully capable citizen. Under the surface of my persona lies an organization that greatly contributed to the blossoming of my capability. This organization that instilled service, scholarship, character, and leadership within my being was the National Honor Society. From a very young age, I developed a passion for learning and absorbing as much as I could each day. The National Honor Society helped me to recognize that the trait of scholarship was something that I grew up with. While learning and expanding as a young adult, I made it a

Going to college has been a dream of mine growing up. I am the first ever in my family to go to college but figuring out how to pay for it has been a challenge. I desire to achieve my academic and career goals and this scholarship can help me succeed in my journey.
Paying for college is an expensive endeavor, and my goal is to complete my education with no loans or debts. My family has saved money for college from the time I was born, but the price tag is still more than we have. I have applied for many scholarships and will continue to do so throughout the next four years; however, the CWEA Scholarship provides me with a unique opportunity to use my talent and love for color guard to fund my education.
As the cost of education increases, many students search for assistance to help cover that cost. That form of assistance could come from burdensome financial aid or a scholarship that provides the student with an education free from debt. That’s why I am writing you today Mr. Alan Hall on behalf of the Student Scholarship Committee, bellow we have outlined the (1) the benefits to the student, (2) the benefits to you, and (3) how you can take action to help.
