During this time frame he tortured, raped and/or murdered an estimated 14 different victims using weapons ranging from handguns, tire irons, knives, a machete and a hammer. Ramirez is a self-proclaimed Satanist who would mark the body and the surrounding areas with pentagrams after he committed the crimes. He violently entered their bedroom where he slashed them with the machete and finally shot them with his .22 handgun. Later that same night Ramirez drove to Sun Valley where he broke into the home of the Khovananth family. He shot and killed Chainarong who was sleeping, then proceeded to rape and beat Somkid. He traveled to Northridge on August 6th, 1985 and broke into the home of Chris and Virginia Peterson. He snuck into the bedroom and tried shooting both of them. Fortunately Chris fought Ramirez back and Ramirez fled the scene. Both Chris and Virginia survived the attack. Two days later on August 8th, 1985 he drove a stolen car to Diamond Bar and picked the home of Elyas and Sakina Abowath. He snuck into their bedroom where he quickly shot and killed Elyas then handcuffed, beat and raped Sakina several times. Later that month, Ramirez committed his last known murder. He broke into the home of William Carns and his fiancée Inez Erickson. Just like the previous murders, he went into the bedroom and shot William three times in the head. He then went after Inez. He beat and tied her up raped her. She was later able to untie herself and get help for William who survived his injuries. She told police that when he left he told her to “tell them the Night Stalker was here.” While leaving the scene of the attack a young boy named James Romero III stated he noticed a “weird looking guy in black” who looked suspicious so he decided to write down his license plate. Due to this newly found evidence, the police were able to find the stolen car Ramirez had been using and were able to obtain a single fingerprint they later identified as Ramirez's. Law enforcement later held a press conference and announced “We know who you are now, and soon everyone else will. There will be no place you can

Richard Kuklinski was an incredibly cold-blooded man. He had at least 100 confirmed kills, and claims to have around 200 total. Richard has a very horrible childhood. Richard liked to torture and kill animals as a little boy. His father abused him and his brothers, one of which was killed from the abuse received from Stanley. Stanley’s brother, Joseph, was pretty messed up, too. He probably would’ve turned out to be a serial killer himself. Kuklinski himself wasn’t like Ramirez or Dahmer, or any other serial killer for that matter. Kuklinski was an evil man, with a ton of interesting information about him out there.
These two murders appeared to be more memorable than the others. Vincent was 64 and Maxine was 44. Ramirez first shot Vincent, then the wife, Maxine, was brutally assaulted and stabbed to death. After the death Ramirez also gouged her eyes out. After this, Ramirez continued to use this style of attack, kill one first then attack the other.
Ramirez also squeezed out Maxine Zazzara's eyes. A full-scale police operation yielded no solid outcomes, and Ramirez rehashed his assault symbol on William and Lillie Doi in April 1985. Throughout the following two months, his murder rate heightened quickly, guaranteeing another dozen casualties in a craze of theft, attack and severe cruelty—finish with Satanic duties—and driving Los Angeles into a turmoil. After the press requested that the police accomplish more to catch the killer, a committed team included many law-implementation officers was set up, and the FBI ventured into

Richard Ramirez is an infamous serial murderer who terrorized Los Angeles, California in 1985. The media gave him the name the “Night Stalker” when he was on his vicious rampage of forcing himself into the homes of his victims late at night and committing his heinous crimes. Though he was only convicted of thirteen murders, he had many more victims. His crimes were so random, disorganized, and impulsive that the law enforcement officials of Los Angeles had no luck finding Ramirez for months as he grew increasingly more violent. (Tripod.com, 2012) Finally, in August of 1985, the police had enough information from many of his victims to release a sketch of him to the media. The sketch had only been on the news for one

Before he would kill in Illinois he would go back to the Palm Springs area and kill again. In spring of 1995 he met Denise Maney a prostitute from the area. He did his usual thing he drove her out to the desert where they had sex, but then he did something he had only done with Jennifer Asbenson, he began to rape her. This time his victim wasn’t able to get away he made her walk into the desert after he restrained her. When they got a good distance into the desert he put the gun into her mouth and shot killing Maney instantly. Urdiales would go back to Illinois and kill someone who was a little closer to him than the previous victims. In April of 1996 Laura Uylaki who had gone on a couple of dates with Urdiales was with Urdiales near Wolf Lake. An argument had broken out between the two and when Urdiales showed his gun to Uylaki, she made an attempt to get out of the truck and get away but Urdiales ran after her fired his weapon and killed Uylaki. Too dispose of the body Urdiales, dumped her into the lake. His next victim would be dumped a little closer to Pontiac. On July 13, 1996, Urdiales met Cassandra Corum, a prostitute from the Hammond Indiana area. They were in Urdiales truck when an argument occurred, he then handcuffed her, taped her feet, taped her mouth shut, and took her clothes off. He began driving south on Interstate 55, after driving for a
Serial killers have fascinated the imaginations of people for a long time. One of the most notorious serial killers is Jeffrey Dahmer whose gruesome murders shocked the nation. Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer also known as Milwaukee monster was a notorious American serial killer and sexual offender in the 1980s and early 1990s. Between 1978 and 1991 Dahmer had murdered 17 men. His victims were usually raped, tortured, dismembered, and cannibalism was also involved. Jeffrey was a troubled child psychologically and his social skills had a lot to be desired. All the way through his childhood he was ignored and had queer fantasies of cadavers. In his adulthood this psychosocial status quo didn 't change and was in fact aggravated.
In the summer of 1994 an Illinois woman’s buzzer rang at her apartment complex in Waukegan. She went downstairs to check after nobody went upstairs to her apartment. As soon as she reached the door downstairs, two men forced her into a dark colored sedan, kidnapped her, and raped her. Distraught after her attack, the victim wandered until she ultimately found a Seven Eleven close by and the police were called. When the police arrived, the victim said she was attacked by two Hispanic men that looked to be in their mid-twenties and a bit taller than her height of five feet and seven inches. The car that she was forced into was described as dark colored, older, having four doors and tinted windows. The victim’s boyfriend saw Angel Gonzalez’s car in the apartment complex parking lot and it matched the characteristics that the woman used to describe the assailant’s car. Police later stopped Gonzalez’s car and the victim acknowledged that the car was the one she described. She was then asked if Gonzalez was one of her attackers, and she was certain that he was, despite her being in the backseat of the police car while he was in front of it. Not only was he not close enough for her to get a clear view, but he also had facial hair and a birthmark, both characteristics that she did not use to describe her attackers. This led to Gonzalez being in police custody for interrogation where they did not allow him to sleep. When he was interrogated, he
In the 1960’s, Manson gathered hundreds of followers which he called “The Family.” They lived on a deserted ranch. Most of Manson’s followers were impressionable young females and he used LSD and amphetamines to help manipulate and convince them to act out his wishes. He slowly broke down his follower’s beliefs and made them believe that he was Jesus and that a race war was impending. Eventually Manson’s most loyal followers carried out his acts of violence and left seven people dead. In 1969, police raided the ranch on suspicions of vandalism, unaware of the murders committed until after the arrests. Charles Manson has been labeled “The Icon of Evil.” (Rosenberg, 2009)
Other authors talk more about the aspect of serial killers having a type of disease that makes it impossible for them not to commit these crimes. Cartel (1985) says that in addition to the lack or non-apparent compassion or guilt that the killers contain, they state that they experience a euphoric state during or after these murders. It is like an addiction that they cannot overcome, feeling the need to kill repeatedly to achieve this “high”. Lunde (1980) states that sexual sadism, “ a deviation characterized by torture and/or killing and mutilation of other persons in order to achieve sexual gratification”. Lunde says this in reference to the fact that many serial killers rape their victims before, during, and even after the murder has taken place. He also references that fact that in an extensive number of serial murders, the cause of death was strangulation. This is very relevant because in strangulation deals with total control over the victim. Ramirez’s method of death was sometimes strangulation, though he did choose to shoot many of his victims.
Jeffrey Dahmer was a sex offender and serial killer mainly between the years 1978 and 1991. He is well known for his severely atypical behaviors. Among his outward manners that are recognized as abnormal are paraphilia-specifically necrophilia and sexual sadism. Jeffrey Dahmer’s victims, whom were boys and men, suffered from rape, violence, dismemberment and finally their murders. Dahmer’s slow progression of killings soon turned into an obsession, which would later land him in prison with a sentence
