Today we conducted an observation using the PUMP model. We observed Rickisha 3 times. The first observation we agreed upon a 72 in pace, 100 in utilization and 90 for methods. We came up with 72%for the pace, while observing for 1 min, she inducted 12 units. Once we multiplied that times 60, this gave us 720 which is below the 1000 expectation. We did not notice Rickisha off task, she received 100% for utilization. With methods, we gave her 90%. We came up with this number, since we noticed her double handling the product and not utilizing the prepper. With these 3 scores, she received a 64.8 % performance. British spoke with Rickisha, providing her with things she noticed her doing well, and some things she could improve on. We conducted

The topic is: The cleanest cleaner. In this experiment, the scientists will be testing which brand of detergents cause a better cleaning effect on one stain on multiple white shirts. The independent variable in this experiment consists of the different detergents, while the dependent variable consists of the amount by which the stain faded (using the purple light scale), and or removed, others include the white t shirts, washing cycle, and drying cycle, staining agent, and cycle of drying and washing. The control variable in this experiment will be the 1 trial run with water only per experiment. The unit while measuring the amount of detergent is mL, and a scale which the is going to use to measure the amount of stain faded.

There is no doubt that slavery affected many lives of across the country. However, little is known that the harsh practices of slave trade occurred right in the middle of our nations capital. After reading the articles by Ricks and Goodheart, I have broadened by knowledge on just how extreme slavery was in Washington D.C. Throughout these articles, the authors discuss the seriousness level of slavery and the extremes individuals would go through in order to escape. Washington D.C. was conveniently located in the middle of the border between the north and south, which led escape efforts to be fostered in this area even though it was the capital.

Frumherj is a car inspection company in Iceland. They are one of the largest in the country, but they want to continue to grow and to outpace their competitors. However, there are some inefficiencies in their process that must be addressed before they can meet their goals. One of their first problems is maintaining an even flow in their process environment. Due to the nature of the inspections and the cold weather in Iceland, they are much more busy in the summer that they are in the winter. This makes it difficult to keep the right amount of employees. There is little they can do to avoid this problem, but rather they should examine their historical data to determine how many employees they will need in order to meet expected

Many people have heard of the revolutionary new religious practice called Scientology. However, the majority of people who have heard of it, have little knowledge of the principles and practices behind the religion. In fact, there is a dark side behind Scientology, and much speculation that the religion is a brainwashing cult. Many people are opposed to the religion because of its secretiveness, its extreme methods of teaching and its alleged use of mind control.
Industrialization in America resulted in many successes of the 20th century as we see them today. Without the industrial growth, there wouldn’t be a technology of computer, or an automobile revolution, or a camera tech, or the improved medicine that was developed. Industrial growth was the most important moments in the history of America, changing the American culture as it was known. Agriculture movement was no longer the business of the day, as factories were introduced all around the country, creating more jobs opportunities and useful products. The Industrial growth in America made the job industry what it is today.
The Church is a highly acclaimed power that is still in power to this day. The Pope is still in power and the Catholic Church has been in power for almost 2000 years. The Church has a huge following and many people follow it blindly. Though there is no feudal system to put the Church on top and there is now a separation of Church and State, it was not always like that. The Church’s history is anything but pure. It constantly used it’s power against those that relied on the Church for answers and reassurance on salvation. The illiteracy of the Middle Ages allowed the Church officials to be trusted mindlessly. Reforms were looked down upon and even resulted in the imprisonment or death of some people. The Church is responsible for taking advantage of the lower class in the Feudal system, committing the Crusades or the “Holy wars” and killing and torturing heretics during the Inquisition as the result of trying to spread Catholicism.
