At first glance you might think "This must be a post about a road trip right?", but it's not. This is about one of the best nights of my life. On August 25, I went to a One Direction concert with one of my best friends, Bella. In this post I'll tell you all about the concert of a life time. The night before the concert I only got about two and a half hours of sleep. The concert was on a Tuesday and I remember getting up really early even though I really didn't need to. I took a shower and then sat around for a few hours, because I had nothing to do. There was no way I was going back to sleep because I was way to excited. Around 11:00 am I did my hair and my makeup for the concert. Since I'm going to the concert with Bella, I went over to
I believe that the decision to prevent me going to Six Flags Trip was wrong, I am a dedicated Student Council member. I try to go when I can, but I have sports and lifting for football year round. The activities/events I have helped out with this year are I ate pie for the pie eating contest, help out at Christmas Decorating, donate $10 to the ALS cause, brought in Juice for Tilly's Kids, almost perfect attendance to all meetings except one, and I am being a candidate for Mr. High Point. Please take in consideration of bringing me to the Six Flags Trip, Thanks for your
In 1949 the Trans-Canada Highway Act was passed by Canada’s Parliament. The Act allowed for the building of a national highway with costs divided between the Federal Government and each provincial government. Construction of the highway began the year after the passing of the Trans-Canada Highway Act, 1950. Seven years after starting construction Saskatchewan finished its section, becoming the first province to do so. The entire highway was not completed until 1971, but Prime Minister John Diefenbaker opened the highway in 1962. The Highway is the world’s longest national road, 7821 kilometers, passing through all 10 provinces. The highway is not a single highway but rather splits into two or three parts in some areas. The main part of
Route 66 was one of the original and most famous roads in the United States and was established on November 11, 1926. Entrepreneurs John Woodruff of Springfield and Cyrus Avery of Tulsa played a crucial role in promoting the concept of an interregional link between Los Angeles and Chicago. However, their lobbying efforts did not bear much fruit until the initiation of the national program towards the development of highways and roads. Notably, legislations for public roads first appeared in 1916 and later revised in 1921. However, proper road constructions did not take place until 1925 when the Congress enacted a more comprehensive version of the version of the road construction act. Following the enactment, the
Have you ever wanted to star in a movie with one of an extraordinary actor? I definitely have. If I could choose to be an any movie it would be Ride Along 2 because it is one of the most hilarious comedies I have ever seen and I would be able to work with Ice Cube and Kevin Hart. It would an outgoing opportunity for me.
Route 66 represents America because the interstate was straight and flat with nothing to look at, but the blue highways are curved and it has interesting things around every corner. On the blue highway people saw small shops in small towns, rivers, and has hills.
The car ride there is always fun, we rock out to the DJ's we well be seeing to get us pumped up for the show. Since we were three hours early to the concert; us crazy girls
You can have an incredible amount of fun when running off-road since there are no speed limits, no cops and there are no pavement to hit when you fall. Riding off-road is a completely different experience compared to riding on the road and on the street. Since you will be encountering harsher elements when riding off-road, it is recommended to grab Off-Road Apparel when riding off-road.
After what feels like 2 hours, I reached the market in 45 minutes. I walk up to the clerk and ask if I could make multiple trips, because there is a lot on this list. They have loaned me a cart so I don’t have to make multiple trips.
I want to a trip to a small town in Central Florida. This town is nestled on interstate 4 grew up calling it I Fo', the town sits between of the great cities of Florida. It is the direct center point between Tampa and Orlando many people call this small town Orampa . But I know this small citrus town is Polk City Florida. Polk city was named after one of the United States former president James Polk. This town was the town that I have spent most of my formative years as a child. Some of my earliest memories are here. Some of my worst childhood memories are here. So in many ways I call this small town home. Just like most small towns there is only one main road that runs through this town. On one side live the neighborhood from which we called uptown. Uptown was
Five young boys from the United Kingdom and Ireland, with one dream have become to be the worlds biggest band. In the five years since they have been together, they have had five tours, including a world tour. They have been all over the world. They have been in the U.S. , Australia , Asia, arms of course Europe, where they are from. One part of the tour ends in the states as the next starts up in Australia. Their "On the Road Again" tour promoted their fourth album, Four. I was fortunate enough to get tickets to not only one,but tel of their concerts. I got tickets to their San Diego show their San Francisco one. Although, I enjoyed both the shows, the one in San Diego was the best. One Direction's San Diego was one of the best shows of the North American leg of the tour.
I grew up in the small town of Blair, Nebraska which is located 20 miles north of Omaha, on the eastern edge of the state. The town covers 5.5 square miles and lies directly on the Missouri river. The population is approximately 8,000 and it continues to grow, as Blair is a very popular town for young and developing families. With the expanding number of kids, the town does the best it can to create enough attractions that will keep them entertained.
Traveling to Gatlinburg was my favorite travel experience for several reasons. The first reason is the gorgeous environment. The scenic views of the Great Smoky Mountains can be seen ubiquitous when I was in Gatlinburg. The gigantic mountains covered with the green color of multifarious kinds of trees in the growing season. In addition, rivers flow through the city naturally. Mandarin ducks usually play in the rivers. I enjoyed walking along with the rivers in this city. Additionally, companionable and benevolent people are one of the reasons why Gatlinburg is my favorite travel experience. People in this city usually smile or greeting even though we have never met each other before. They did not only smile or greeting, but also say sorry in
I was a long dark night but made it through the night because it was my first ever gymnastics competition so I first I was asleep but then I hear the loud boarding alarm but I finally woke up at 6:00 am because I had to be in the I gym I was competing in by 7:45. It was about 6:15 when I put my competition leotard with pink and black glitter on. My mom did my hair and put it in a high bun with a braid and put in some bobby pins at last she put in the scrunchie. While my mom was getting ready I decided that I would stretch so I wouldn't get hurt during the competition. Finally, when my mom came out of the bathroom I had to get my water ready and my mom had to get her coffee ready too. It was about 7:30 when we left the house and before we left the house we
My first driving lesson was when I was 14 years old. It was on a Friday night, in the church’s parking lot. I jumped into the big blue van and turned the van on. I sat in front of the steering wheel and I felt my butterflies in my stomach. I was very nervous and excited at the same time. I pushed on the breaks and slowly switched from the parking gear to the driving. I slowly let go of the brake and pushed the gas petal gently. I went around the parking lot and parked in front of the church. I got off enthusiastically and admired my parking until I noticed that the wheel was on the curb. I tried going in reverse to fix the car so that my dad wouldn’t yell at me. But who was to know that I wasn’t going to be able to fix it? Apparently my father
Purchasing a vehicle requires a lot of research to make sure you get a good deal and a good and a reliable car. The car must also suit your needs. The car I need is one with off road capabilities for camping trips. This is because I go camping all the time. Usually I go camping about 1 time every single month. This means that I'll need a car to bring me there and back even when there is no more road. Also off-roading is a sport I enjoy. It would really be nice to have a car that I can do that with. That’s why one of my requirements for the car is having 4x4 capability. The car must be able to handle off road usage to get me places I need to go. There are also other activities other than camping that require a car
