The road to success comes through hard work, determination, and personal sacrifice
I would like to break this winning formula down into "easy to chew" bite-sized chunks. In doing so, we will look at four smaller nuggets of truth. The first nugget is: "THE
ROAD TO SUCCESS," the second is: "HARD WORK," the third: "DETERMINATION," and the fourth nugget worthy of a closer look is: "PERSONAL SACRIFICE."
For our conclusion, I will ask, "Who will answer this call?" Let us get started with the first nugget of truth, "THE ROAD
TO SUCCESS." The road to success starts within a heart that wants to be the best at something--a heart, mind, and soul that does not want to be ordinary, but extraordinary.
These words of hope come from the roots of our

If the athlete will not plant a crop of "HARD
WORK" he, too, will yield nothing for his effort. All of this takes time; the farmers, as well as the athletes, earn great rewards from their continual effort. With "HARD
WORK," you can expect to get bigger, stronger, and faster.
Let
us chew for a while on the next nugget of success, "DETERMINATION."
Another word that fits this section is tenacity. Never give up your dreams. Set your mind, soul, and heart upon doing everything necessary to become your best. Notice I said, "Your best;" learn how to become the best you are capable of.
"DETERMINATION" means that you look at yourself and make no excuses. As you find your weak areas, attack them to better yourself. One of my weak areas of life was reading.
I gave up all my excuses and started reading everything in the area of my interest; now I love to read. One might have very weak arms; get over it and get busy correcting the problem area. Are you out of shape? Get over it and be determined to change that problem. Do you have problems in Math? Get over it, ask for help, and learn. Never let your emotions have the best of you. Control your emotions and do whatever it takes to be the best.
A
young man won a gold metal in the Olympics on the pistol rage using his right hand. He went home after the competition a winner, but he had a dream to win a second gold metal in four years. While at work, his right hand was crushed by machinery to the
Martin Luther King Jr. said, "You don't have to see the whole staircase in order to take the first step". One might use this quote and say people should not look into the future and be the best but instead they should focus on making progress instead. They might even say that there is no way to be the best at anything because there will always be room for improvement. Also a handful of people might believe that one does not need to find their identity before they become successful because they might believe that it is what you produce which makes you successful and not if one knows who they are internally. Many of the arguments I made for what is required in order to be successful are
ATTITUDE: Always have a positive attitude. Remember success is 10% ability and 90% attitude! If you think that you can achieve, then you can achieve.
Whether it is a good or bad way to achieve excellence, everyone still holds some sort of determination. Whether you are at the top of your game and you are the best at what you do, or you are at the bottom and at the worst, deep inside everyone
you want to be the best at something, you will have to stay driven and force
Hard work always pays off. These words were constantly repeated to me from a young age. My parents would tell me if I wanted to be successful, I needed to work at it and give it my full attention. Luckily, I decided to listen to them, and I can honestly say that it has paid off.
With dedication, one can achieve greatness. When one practices enough, they will become good enough to excel past expectations. If one is persistent enough for the right amount of rime, one can reach the goal he has set for himself. The road to success may not always be easy, but that is where the men and the boys are separated.
“What If the Secret to Success is Failure?” by Paul Tough presents how Dominic Randolph, the headmaster of Riverdale Country School, wants his students to succeed, but he believes that in order to succeed, you have to learn how to fail. It is believed that character is the most important part for success. Dominic Randolph, and David Levin, superintendent of the Knowledge in Power Program (KIPP) schools, work together in order to to reach a conclusion, that is character traits is needed in order to succeed in academic and in life. Though a student could be smart in academics, but he has to have character in order to succeed. “The Inverse Power of Praise” by Po Bronson and Ashley Merriman cite how praising a child too much could affect their
Thomas Edison once said, “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” When it comes to success and achievements, people often believe that success is complicated and can not be reached easily. Many authors explain the reality on how we can accomplish our goals and become successful. We recently read several articles describing the keys that make us successful in our profession. The authors that discuss this journey toward achievement are Carol S. Dweck in her article “The Secret to Raising Smart Kids, ” Geoffrey Colvin in his piece “What It Takes to Be Great,” Malcolm Gladwell in his novel chapter “The 10,000-Hour Rule,” and Jonnelle Davis in “Liz Murray Shares
The coach of the 1980´s Olympic hockey team Herb Brooks told others ¨Let me start with issuing you a challenge: be better than you are. Set a goal that seems unattainable, and when you reach that goal set another one even higher¨. Every journey starts with a goal and a journey to that goal helps improve many parts of ourselves. Like a growing business the closer it gets to the owner´s goal the products will become more and more detailed.
The three factors that I would attribute my success thus far to are my grit, mindset, and work-ethics. My grit attributes to me not wanting or allowing myself to fail by letting me do everything humanly possible to succeed. My mindset allow me to stay focus and achieve my goals and not be shaken by any doubt. My work-ethics is my resolve and, it allows to hold more doubts in my work which in turn strengthen my firm mindset. Both, my mindset and work-ethics gives me a reason to have grit to stay determined on my path to becoming an excellent student and achieve my college and career goals.
For instance, winning competitions made me feel good, so that motivated me to work harder for me to get the first place. Also, I needed hot-blooded bursts of effort to masterfully execute sophisticated musical interpretations so I can satisfy the audience and myself. In due course, I started to see the fruits of my hard, sweaty work; I started winning many piano competitions. Much to my benefit, my hard-working skill transferred over to my academic endeavors as well, helping me to finish my homework in time while striving to create quality content. Although the process of working through tough musical spots in a music piece was challenging and painful at times, I learned through experience that being indefatigably persistent through the times of unbearably toiling moments is the only way to obtain my desired
Determination is not the key to success, but actually, it's talent, skill, support, and sometimes even good luck.
One accomplishment that took an abounded amount of time and effort was placing second nationwide in Science Olympiad. Science Olympiad is a prime example of dedication. In this club students, including myself, practice every day after school from the time school ends to 5:30 sometimes to 6:30 where you work non-stop on your 'events' that pertain to various scientific topics, to become the best in the nations. So much determination is built up from the time that you put into your event that you are motivated to see the end result, and see what you have built or studied pay off by placing first in your event. Even when you thought that things go wrong or your build breaks you do not tend to give up, if anything it pushes you to fix it and prevent
There are several qualities to have to be successful in college. These qualities can range from attending class to going above and beyond what’s expected. Success comes from the journey taken or the path chosen. Success also comes from being prepared. As a student, I must step up to the challenge and find the path to success along the way. Several ways I define success is to uphold academic integrity, have the ability to prioritize, and to motivate myself to stay on top of what needs to be accomplished.
firmly believe in the philosphy that “Where there's a will, there's a way” and hard work is the key to unlock the doors of the success because there is no shortcut and alternative for attaining success.
