1- In Home
-access to remote information: People used to have computer at home for example to be informed of what is happening around the World. This can be made by internet. Some people when they are in their native country or when they are abroad, they use computer to have some information about their country. For example, if an American lives in France and he wants to have information about Presidential election in USA, he can have it using computer. For example we can have a linkage between computers in a university, it’s called a LAN (local area network).many companies have branches throughout the World and these branches may have their own LAN.
Therefore to make all these branches across the world to communicate together they need a bigger network called WAN (wide area Network).For example by internet, a manager in London can get some information from a server located in New-york. [5]
At home, networking can be also used to connect two or more computers. These connections are often used to share an internet connection, files, printers or scanner. [6]

4- Business We can use computer for business purposes .today in our society, many offices depends on computer .these computers are often use: To keep accounts [12]: most banks are using computers to manage accounts of their customers; it is a B2B (Business to Business) relationship.
To prepare invoices[12]: most company such as British Gas or EDF Energy use computers to calculate and send invoices to their customer.
A company such as Transport of London, when people want to top up their oyster card they have to go to a station or to a shop. After topping up, a customer receives an invoice showing what he has paid, this is a B2C (Business to Consumer)
