Have you ever felt true love? Sometimes it does not always work out in that relationship. Maybe outside factors affected how a relationship turned out in the end. In the tragedy, Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, both characters Romeo and Juliet died and had a bumpy relationship mainly due to outside factors. Romeo and Juliet had many outside factors affect their relationship. Characters such as Friar Laurence, Tybalt, themselves, or even fate. During the story, Tybalt and Romeo never saw eye to eye which resulted in Tybalt’s personality to possibly lead to a chain of events. Tybalt challenged Romeo to a duel, “BENVOLIO: Tybalt, the kinsman to old Capulet, Hath sent a letter to his father’s house. MERCUTIO: A challenge, on my …show more content…

This quote means that Friar Laurence agreed to Romeo’s proposal of marrying a girl he has barely met and one that is from his rival family. An example that also supports the fault on Friar Laurence is lying to Capulet about Juliet being dead when in actuality she was alive yet in a coma sourced from his potion. An additional example could also be his devised plans such as the moment he created the plan to get Romeo to open a coffin that Juliet would be in once she awoke from her coma to be reunited together once more, which seems extremely suspicious and this mess could have been prevented in the first place if he remained smart over his actions. Overall, Friar Laurence could have prevented their deaths if only he was heedful with his actions. Because both Romeo and Juliet were head over heels for each other they are also a possibility for the fault of their death. An example could be when Romeo fell in love with Juliet in the first place which caused all the events of the story to occur. Another could be when Juliet was suicidal, “JULIET: And ere this hand, by thee to Romeo’s sealed, shall be the label to another deed, or my true heart with treacherous revolt turn to another, this shall slay them both. Therefore, out of thy long-experienced time, give me some present counsel; or, behold, ’twixt my extremes and me this bloody knife shall play the umpire, arbitrating that which the commission of thy years
