When the Capulets and Montagues walk into Juliet’s tomb they find Juliet and Romeo dead beside each other. The two families realized that the deaths of their only children were because of the hatred between their families it caused them to stop despising each other. The evidence for this is in Scene 5 Act 3 when Capulet says “O brother Montague, give me thy hand: This is my daughter's jointure, for no more can I demand.” Here he is saying to Montague that we need to come to a state of peace as that is all my daughter wanted.
