Question 6 In my foreseen for the cultural issues that may lead to ethical concerns for Ruth’s Chris, the religion, political and economic philosophies and social structure of Franch will determine the culture that impact the people’s values and norms in French. First, France are more dainty for food and eating atomosphere, specially for high income level people who are the potential customers for Ruth’s Chris. They concern about the food quality and safty more than others. So the one ethical problem may happened to Ruth’s Chris will be the food safty and quanlity problem. Ruth’ Chris is a steakhouse and their beef all import from US or Austrilian. They want to guarantee the quality of beef and keep their oranginal taste of Ruth’s steak.
Ruth’s Chris is a steak house that has been franchised all over the world, with a consumer recognizable name that is widely popular for their brand and calling. Ruth’s Chris began in 1965 when Ruth Fertel mortgaged her home and bought a steakhouse that had 60 seats called Chris Steak House in New Orleans (Peter & Donnelly, 2013). Twelve years later, in 1976, the restaurant suffered a kitchen fire and was destroyed. Ruth had the drive not to let that destroy what she loved. She purchased another property shortly after and called it Ruth’s Chri. One of her regular customers convinced her to allow him to franchise the restaurant, and by the 1980’s Ruth’s Chris was a global brand.
When someone you are attached to dies it is never easy to get over it, many times leading to become someone you are not. Hunter Jordan's sudden death that was led by a stroke not only impacted his wife Ruth, but as well as his stepson James. Even though, it was not his biological dad he saw him as a father figure. Ruth and James behaved differently after the tragic loss of their loved one.
This passage talks about how Ruth’s father, Tateh, ran a household. He did’nt show any love to his wife or kids but he put them to work. Sam got so upset about having to work in his Tateh’s store that he ran away. Running a household is a very important factor to Ruth and James. Ruth tends to run a very strict household with grades and if they don’t listen to Ruth they get punished by a belt. Ruth’s household tactics are similar to her Tateh but she shows love for them too. Ruth would even put a king or queen in charge over their siblings. In this passage, Mcbride is describing how Ruth and her siblings hated being treated as slaves to their Tateh. This also relates to what James and his siblings go through. Some of the siblings such as Helen

Ruth has a few inconsistencies with the verification protocols. She seems to have issues with hearing what the callers were spelling today. Ruth has a pleasant tone and she was kind with all of her callers. Ruth needs to work on not rushing the spelling verification for a better assurance in her capturing it accurately.
Through chapters five to eight, Ruth’ children were most of the time hungry because they were poor. In my opinion there were several reasons why Ruth did not seek for help. First, in there time there was political problems and there were some talking about changing the system. Ruth could not ask for help from the government because maybe she though that the government had bigger problems than hers. Another reason is her problems with her family. Ruth could not ask her family to help her because she does not have any contact with them. Ruth’s family had abandoned her because she has changed her religious. Finally, because she was living alone with her children, and because she did not have any friends she could not ask for help from anywhere.
More than ever before, our planet is one filled with meat eaters. In fact, the average American consumes 270.7 pounds of meat per year. And, as one might have guessed, the question of where this food set before them on the table came from is often unregarded or ignored altogether. As more media forms commercialize extremely unhealthy versions of double cheeseburgers and meat lover’s supremes, the consumer’s demand for meat spikes up and companies in the food industry are faced with the ethical dilemma of benefiting themselves, their companies, increasing profits...and doing right by the animals- who without, they would not even be where they are today. Needless to say that animal rights and the humane treatment of their precious lives have been disregarded. Why do we, as a
In the book “A Raisin In The Sun”, I saw that Ruth and Mama show that the family is the most important relationship in most people’s lives. Both Ruth and Mama is already and willing give up more for their family. Mama gave 6,500 to her son so that the family won’t fall apart and Ruth was willing to give up her baby because she scare that the family wouldn’t have enough money.
What is the ideal doneness of a burger? Some may claim that well-done is the best, others may like medium-rare. While this is one of the most common questions asked in regards to meat-eating, there is an even more important one that everyone should be asking. What are the ethical implications of eating meat? This oft-debated question has been obscured, especially in recent years, by the outcry for the humane treatment of animals being raised for food. There have been many recent documentaries, books, and debates about how these animals sometimes never see sunlight before they are slaughtered, among many other abusive treatments. In his essay, “Animal, Vegetable, Miserable,” Gary Steiner raises this issue of the morality of meat-eating and challenges the readers to question their own views on this topic. Regardless of the morality of eating meat or using animal products, Steiner does not support his claim strongly enough to be accepted.
Angela and Zooey desire to make a profitable French restaurant. “The Possibility” has endless of possibilities to prosper if it can resolve the problems which the decision makers are facing. Their first challenge was not knowing how the customer would take to French cuisine. This caused problems such as what to put on the menu since excessive waste was not an option. This problem had a quick alternative for the time being as to only offering a fish or beef dinner. Though they have narrowed down their menu to a fish dinner and a beef dinner it is necessary to factor in all the constraints on how many of each type of dinner to sell to reach a maximum profit.
Trevino and Nelson define an ethical dilemma as “a situation where two or more right values are in conflict” (p. 39). When differing opinions from two separate parties meet often solutions can only benefit one group, where both cannot be satisfied. A relevant business story with an ethical dilemma is the french food waste bill, that has come into law earlier this year. This is an illustration of how one ethical value has overcome another in order for government to deal with the national food waste. In this report we will be analysing the decisions and actions of the main actors Arash Derambarsh and Guillaume Garot and how their ethical view’s affected the government 's’ actions on edible food waste.
Ruth’s mother set a feminine guiding line that was characterized by a serious devotion to principle, righteousness, duty, and her husband.
His customers make a complaint about the taste of the menu. They said that the menu is not delicious and they don’t like it. Wahid trying to make it clear and don’t want to start an argument at that time but the customers ask him to called their chef. When the chef coming out, he getting angry to his customers and said to them to go out and never came to his restaurant anymore. The customers leave the restaurant angrily. At the same time Wahid had been fired by his boss. As we can understand from this scene, we knew that moral standards is the point that could come out from this movie. We knew the customers were always right and the supplier must face any complaining from their customer to improve their service to be better. It is unfair to Wahid that had been fired because of the customer behavior. We knew that Wahid had did the best to the customers. His boss should have to consider about who is right and who is wrong in this argument before fired his workers. Unethical issues here we can conclude that there is no moral values that should be take
