Her house abutted Clarkson Avenue, which is the same street her mom grew up on. Nora was very stoical and not rankled very easily, unless you messed with her sister Carey, who was born on the exact day, except 2 years later. Carey was very gaunt, unlike her more muscular mother and sister, even that the hand-me-down attire that was given to her would never fit. Their personalities were not very divergent, even though that they were both convinced that they were. Their father had been killed in a car accident, and was a very respected man, who had no one feel enmity toward him. Are morals always right? This was one of the big questions that changed the moral driven society of the late 1800s. At this time many things were changing; settlers were heading west, women were gaining rights, and with that the morals of many people also began to change. At that time, morals played a huge role on the lives of the early settlers, but some of these beliefs didn’t always lead to positive change like many of these people hoped. A large amount of people had very narrow minded ideas of morals, and because people’s actions were extremely moral based, a lot of people in society thought they were making many positive changes, when they were actually doing the opposite. A good example of this is Harriet Bishop. While she

Actually, he was not always a chocolate producer. His first venture into the candy industry was actually with caramel. It was not until a convention in Chicago where he was introduced to the marvels of milk chocolate and its potential for profit (bio.com). Hershey was the first, and for a longtime, the only producer of milk chocolate in the states. This is due to the fact that milk chocolate was very scarce as it had to be imported and on top of that, only very wealthy people could afford it. Along with the commercialization of milk chocolate, he also built a dairy farm next to the factory so as to only have the freshest ingredients used for his delicacies (Ic.galegroup.com). In Plato’s “Allegory of the Cave”, for me it talks about how a person is being blind to know the truth because of the people who are higher than them. It says that the allegory is a cave of men chained with their heads forced to remained forward facing toward a wall; I can say that it talks about us, the people who become prisoners to know the truth. And the shadow that forms through the help of fire and wall are the false information or truth that we get from other people. In today’s generation, I think it’s still happening because we are still fed by lies and being forced to live a life accepting this false reality as truth.
