July 1 through December 31, 2016 Period Program Activities and Tax Levy Expenditures: Orientation: The program conducted a parent and student orientations during the week of August 24th. We had about 100 parents in attendance and broke up the group by class year. We provided a parent/handbook in both Spanish and English. This year's goal was to focus on students' grade point average. It was explained that success in the program this year was defined by having a grade point average of a 3.0 or better and how parents could support their children with this goal.
