In my upcoming high school years I hope to try new things and push my comfort zone, strengthen my academic abilities, and make new friends, as well as strengthen my existing friendships. I look forward to attending Villa Maria Academy next year for high school. I am excited for all the new high school experiences, from the increased responsibility to the new freedoms gained. I would also like to attend Villa because I value my faith. Villa Maria Academy, founded in the same tradition of the IHM sisters that I experienced at Lower Villa, can help me to maintain my strong relationship with God.
On April 11, 2016, I was assigned this case to follow up. This investigation involves Mr. Rolin Josue Barahona Cruz. On April 12, 2016, I spoke to Rolin Barranoha (father) and asked him permission to speak to Rolin at T.C. Williams High School. I received permission and advised Mr. Barrahona that I would follow up with him or his wife in the afternoon. I spoke to Mr. Barahona in Spanish which was the language we used all throughout our interview.
Mr. McCullough begins his speech by recognizing his audience and the privilege of being selected as the graduation speaker stating, “Dr. Wong, Dr. Keough, Mrs. Novogroski, Ms. Curran, members of the board of education, family and friends of the graduates, ladies and gentlemen of the Wellesley High School class of 2012”. Acknowledging the audience by name or position, Mr. McCullough is able to set the audience at ease. This is a nod to them being part of the same community. Our task is to choose two Jesuit secondary schools and to learn about their approach to the Jesuit teachings and beliefs. The first school, Fordham Preparatory School, is located in the United States. The second school Loyola High School is located in Canada. These schools wouldn 't be here today if it wasn 't for St. Ignatius of Loyola and his creation of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) in 1540. We will explain the dual purpose of Jesuit education and how both schools incorporate it, the history and general information of both schools, how they compare to Fairfield Prep, and how both schools show compassion.

The students think that this year will be one of the best years they have had at PHS.
In August of 2016, Mary Scholz started her freshman year at Dowling Catholic High School. It was a big transition for her, going from the only school she had ever known and had gone to for a decade. This transition, while initially hard, was worth it the long run because she made new friends and held a position of leadership with the student council and she joined the debate team.
Last year, at Kingsland High School’s Graduation Ceremony, Josie Hinze not only receiveed her High School Diploma, but also her Associates of Arts Degree before even attending any college or university. Fast-forward to one year later, and seven Kingsland students will be graduating high school with both their High School Diploma and AA Degree thanks to the collaboration of Riverland Community College and Kingsland High School for allowing high school students to take college-level courses in high school and receive college credit for them. Not only that, but there are several others who will be graduating Kingsland High School with transferrable college credit so their first few semesters might
Initially, St. Timothy Parish was designated a parish in 1969, by the Bishop of Richmond, John J. Russell. Simultaneously, Fr. Robert E. Nudd was appointed the first pastor. He served until 1978, when Fr. R. Roy Cosby succeeded him as pastor of St. Timothy Church. Thereafter, Fr. Cosby had a vision to build a school and make a Catholic education available for the children of the parish. Subsequently, in 1980, construction began on the Fr. Nudd Hall. It consisted of eight classrooms, three offices, storage, a gym/social hall, and a professional kitchen. At the outset, Mrs. Valatka was named principal, and interestingly, she was in the unique position of being the first lay principal in the diocese. The building was completed in 1981, and
