The person I am doing for my essay is Wesley Isenhour (my dad). He has a wife named Liane and two kids named Macy and Maddy. He works for the United States postal service and does reviews on post offices all around North Carolina. The reason I chose my dad is because he always makes people smile and makes everyone's day better. He is one of the best people in my life and is always there for me. There were many different resistance efforts throughout the Holocaust. On 12 September 1942, the town was assaulted by about 150 partisan soldiers who killed thirty SS officers, soldiers, and police. They broke through the wall, evacuated the 30 Jews remaining and burned the ghetto to the ground before retreating into the surrounding woodland.

Kenneth Marquez Williams is a native of Nashville, TN. He attends Lake Providence Baptist church in Antioch, TN. Kenneth is currently a senior at Tennessee State University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Health Administration and Planning with a minor in Business. He plans to attend Tennessee State’s graduate school to obtain his master’s degree in Business Administration. John Williams was born on February 8, 1932 in Floral Park, New York.He is an american conductor, painter, and composer. He is the son of Esther and Johnny Williams. He moved to Los Angeles and graduated High School in 1950. He then graduated from the University of California. In 1952, Williams served in the air force . Afterwards, Williams moved to New York and attended The Juilliard School. He has two brothers who both work in Los Angeles.

From July 1942 through November 1943, the Germans killed between 870,000 and 925,000 Jews at the killing center. Treblinka I, the forced-labor camp, continued operations until late July 1944. While the killing center was in operation, some of the arriving Jews were selected and transferred to Treblinka I, while Jews too weak to work at Treblinka I were periodically sent to Treblinka II to be killed. During late July 1944, with Soviet troops moving into the area, the camp authorities and the Trawniki-trained guards shot the remaining Jewish prisoners, between 300 and 700, and hastily dismantled and evacuated the camp. In this piece, A woman leaves her home and sees what she is missing in life. SHe realises the grass is greener on the other side, and never wants to go back. The three things that I learned about the West from Willa Cather's “My Antonia” and “A Wagner Matinee” are beauty is in the eye of the beholder, change is a good thing, and love is eternal.

Scott W. Williams is an African American male. Scott Williams was born April 22, 1943 in Staten Island, New York. He was raised in Baltimore, Maryland. Scott Williams is an only grandchild. His grandparents strongly valued Education. All of his aunts and uncles on both sides had Master's degrees at least. Scott Williams' father's father taught in an integrated elementary school in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. His mother's Algonquin Indian mother was a business woman who also formed a Colored woman's reading group in 1900 Bangor, Maine. His mother Beryl E. Williams was the first Black to graduate from the University of Maine in 1936, later earning the M.S. in mathematics in 1940. His father, Roger K. Williams, was one of the first Blacks to earn a Ph.D. in Psychology at Penn State University in 1946. When he was 12, Scott Williams' mother took him to see the M.I.T. campus during a family trip to Boston. After her description of the Institute as a great place of mathematical learning, he said, "Mom, I will get a Ph.D. here in Mathematics."

Treblinka was a german work camp during the holocaust, jews sent there were not to come back they would work in gravel pits until they couldn't any longer. They were then sent to treblinka II,a death camp complete with a furnace designed for jews. Many died in treblinka over 900,000 jews were sent to treblinka, leading to about 900,000 deaths. Through treblinka's terror rain, only about 63 jews survived. Treblinka was one of the worst chapters of the holocaust many thousands died in this near unimaginable way.

During the Holocaust there were many death camps, but do you know exactly what happened to the people in those camps? Understanding what the Treblinka camp was like, where it was, the amount of people that died, and if there were any revolts may give us a better insight of the camp itself.

Well-known for her detailed works about life in the frontier like, ‘O Pioneer’ or ‘The Song of Lark’, Willa Cather thrives in illustrating Nebraskan life in her novels. Arguably one of her best works, is the novel ‘My Antonia’ published in 1918 (Jewell). The novel holds elements of romanticism such as the glorification of nature and the frontier, and hints of nostalgia. The field of voicework is a manifold craft, comprised of such occupations as narrator, voice actor, and radio announcer. These occupations vary in their responsibilities and purposes, yet all share a common component that lies central to their accomplishment. Voice. In particular, a warm and confident voice. In the year of 2011 one such voice was found in a most unlikely place. It was in January of that year that a seemingly innocuous video was filmed and posted on the internet. The subject of that video was one Ted Williams who, at the time, was bereft of a home. Williams was possessed of a noticeably deep and striking voice which soon led to an explosion of popularity centered around the video itself.
