Samurai and Knights have a lot of things in common but they also have many differences as well. Some of these differences have to do with how they were each trained, there amour, and there codes of law, but that doesn't mean they don't have any similarities. For example, both Samurai and Knights had to begin trailing at while they were young, around the age of four or five, but while the knights would first learn how to ride a pong, Samurai would study Kendu. It says in document A, ¨ Young warriors studied Kendo(the art of fencing with bamboo sticks.)¨. This shows how the Samurai would often study Kendu first above all else when the first start becoming a Samurai. The knights would become squirts and the Samurai would become a official Samurai by going through a ceremony called genpuku. Another factor to how the Samurai and Knights were both equally different and alike is there amour. Both, the Samurai and Knights, armour were very heavy, with the knights armor weighing to 40 to 60 pounds, but the Japanese cared more about the mobility of three warriors so the armor often had four parts, each pulled together by silk or leather cords. On document c it says, ¨ In samurai armor, small iron scales were tied together, lacquered, and then bound into armor plates with silk or leather cords.¨ Each of these amours had been constructed out of metal. The Samurai's armour made up of small iron scales, and the Knights armour made of chainmail but was later changed to steel because of the world becoming more innovative towards weaponry. The Samurai armour and the Knight armour were later discontinued due to guns being created. The Samurai and the Knights also each had a code of honor, for the Samurai it was called Bushido, and for the Knights called there code the
