The Castillo De San Marcos is a historic site of over twenty acres that was originally a fort constructed by the efforts of the Spanish in present-day St. Augustine, Florida. This fort was built in order to protect the town from attacks of the English. Such assaults occurred before when Sir Francis Drake led twenty ships and thousands of men to burn down the city. The pirate Robert Searles, also from England, later looted the area. English power was becoming more prominent as more people settled in America, so the queen of Spain, Queen Mariana, decreed the construction of the Castillo De San Marcos to protect the settlement.

The school I went to was In Hampton Virginia. My tribe was Ho-chunk. I was known for paintings and illustration. Some paintings I did was big land, or people together, or my tribe. I was famous because of my paintings. The paintings I did were so good I became a Famous Native American.

After Hernan Cortes conquered the new world; he exploited the generosity and riches of the Native America Population.
